The Hoffmans’ affairs were previously a hot topic.

Ever since Phoebe got involved, the Hoffmans have been in decline in Beijing, gradually being excluded from the city’s new aristocrat families.

Lincoln Hoffman surely resents this case, thus finding all sorts of excuses to refuse to help.

Carn Radcliff was furious because this incident wasn’t a minor personal matter; so many people were trapped, and Lincoln could have helped but deliberately stalled for reasons.

Who couldn’t see that he wanted to raise the price, like bargaining with Mr. Bonette for benefits!

"He just wants to act superior and make us beg him!" Carn’s face turned livid, trembling with rage: "He’s dreaming!"

Brian Bonette was listening nearby, and upon hearing this, he frowned and looked towards Jeremiah Bonette and asked, "Uncle Jeremiah, did you find Lincoln Hoffman?"

"Yes." Jeremiah Bonette replied with a restrained expression, seemingly disgusted by Lincoln’s antics to the point of being speechless.

Sadam Vinson didn’t care what they were saying, his heart was still concerned for Nathalie Quinlan and the others who were blocked outside. He braced himself against the heavy atmosphere and said to Jeremiah Bonette: "Um... Uncle Jeremiah, I have a friend still outside, could you let the outsiders let her in..."

Carn Radcliff, who was initially absorbed in Lincoln’s cunning plan, frowned when he heard Sadam ntioning the friends he brought along. He wanted to say sothing but held back due to Sadam’s status.

Nevertheless, the look he gave Sadam was quite reproachful.

The look seed to say, ’At a ti like this, you’re still concerned about that friend outside’!

Sadam felt awkward being stared at, touching his earlobe, then explained to Jeremiah Bonette: "My friend ca all this way with us just to know Amadeus’s situation. We’re inside now, but she’s been stopped outside, it’s not good... Nathalie she..."

As he spoke, he couldn’t help but ntion Nathalie Quinlan’s nickna.

Jeremiah originally didn’t agree to let the friend in, but upon hearing ’Nathalie,’ he looked towards Sadam and asked, "Your friend’s last na is Qiao?"

"Yes."

What’s wrong with the last na Qiao?

Sadam was still clueless about Amadeus taking Nathalie to et Jeremiah and helping him track Eagle Eye, scratching his head in confusion.

"How old is she?" Jeremiah seed like soone drowning clutching at a straw, his eyes lit up, asking: "

Sadam: "Not very old, just started college. Eighteen? Nineteen? Anyway, she’s not very old! But Nathalie, she’s not here for fun, she’s really worried about Amadeus, we..."

Before he could finish, Jeremiah placed his teacup on the table, startling Sadam.

Jeremiah didn’t seem to notice, revealing a mix of surprise and joy, grabbing his arm and asking, "Where is this person you’re talking about? She’s outside?"

Sadam was utterly bewildered.

Carn was initially slow to catch on, but seeing Jeremiah so excited, he finally understood too, his eyes much sharper and more excited than when he looked at Sadam and the others. He said to Jeremiah: "Mr. Bonette, could Sadam be referring to the last ti..."

"It should be her." Jeremiah revealed a smile, suddenly relaxed.

Carn reacted even faster, imdiately striding towards the door: "I’ll go out and get her."

Jeremiah didn’t waste a word, releasing Sadam’s arm, ignored even Brian, and quickly followed him out.

Outside.

Govert Griffin was still looking around, turning his head to talk to Nathalie Quinlan: "I don’t know when Mr. Vinson and the others will co out?"
