The way Nathalie reacted so fast caught Amadeus off guard. Seeing her eyes skittering and not looking at him, he realized what she was thinking and couldn’t help but chuckle, a low laugh escaping his throat, "Alright."
Nathalie felt a wave of heat rise to her earlobes at his laughter, feeling utterly uncomfortable, she changed the topic, "By the way, I’m going to McKinney the day after tomorrow, just letting you know in advance."
"Are you sure you want to participate in that variety show?" Amadeus knew Nathalie was deliberately changing the subject but cooperated with her calmly.
Indeed.
The girl’s tense back relaxed, she uttered an ’mm’, sounding normal again, "I just happen to need to go there. I have sothing to handle."
She planned to find what the Morse Code left in the Black Box was referring to.
"What ti the day after tomorrow?"
Nathalie thought for a mont, "Eight in the morning."
"The variety show starts live at 11 a.m., I need to be there first, it’ll take so ti on the way."
An eight a.m. flight was too early.
She’d need to get up at least by six a.m.
At the thought of getting up early, Nathalie felt inexplicably irritable, but she had already promised Stephanie Tanzil she would go, and she never broke a promise.
"I need to get up early the day after tomorrow, go straight to the airport after waking up." Her opinion was, that she would leave early the morning after and wouldn’t say goodbye to him.
