Enrico Tucker furrowed his brow; his grandmother used to not be this kind of person. She often educated them to abide by the law and not to abuse their family’s connections to misbehave.
She clearly knew Jane Bailey had done wrong, so why did she still insist on protecting that girl?
Even going so far as to slander the victim?
Mrs. Tucker’s expression was very cold. With a slap, she put down her cup, and the surrounding atmosphere instantly beca chilled. She retorted, "Are you lecturing ?"
Enrico didn’t understand: "I didn’t an that, I just..."

Adelia Tucker slamd heavily on the table, visibly incensed: "Presumptuous! It’s not your place to teach what’s right or wrong!"
The others were busy trying to persuade the two family mbers to stop arguing.
It wasn’t worth it, all for a young girl.
"I’m going to make things clear with you today."
Adelia was wearing a high-necked, modified dress with disk buttons today. The royal purple satin fabric was embroidered with peonies, one stitch at a ti—regal and elegant. Around her neck hung a circle of jade-green jade necklace, her powerful aura unmatchable by Enrico, a presence matured by the years.
"I don’t think much of that girl. You’d best give up that idea!"
Enrico’s heart suddenly sank, and regardless of his own image, he widened his eyes in an attempt to argue: "Grandma, this is my own business."
"It’s also the Tucker Family’s business." Mrs. Tucker cut off his words: "You were born into our family. You’ve always had everything you wanted. Your marriage isn’t just about you. That girl has no upbringing—I absolutely will not allow her to enter our family’s door."
"And don’t co to anymore to plead for her. I’m telling you, if she doesn’t co and apologize to , this matter won’t be over."
Enrico couldn’t understand how she beca so obsessive about Nathalie’s case.
But the Tucker Family had always been run by his grandmother, and although he wanted to help Nathalie, he didn’t know how to rebel against his own grandmother.
"I’ll definitely get Jane Bailey released, and as for the online public opinion, if she properly cos over and apologizes to , I might consider retracting those press releases," Adelia spoke slowly with confidence, having mixed with the world decades more than Nathalie, her consud salt exceeding the latter’s consud rice.
She didn’t intend to intentionally make it difficult for the younger generation, but since the Zachmann Family wasn’t properly educating their child, she as the old neighbor was simply lending a hand in teaching them a lesson.
She was waiting for the proud and ignorant Nathalie to co over and apologize to her!
Just as she finished lecturing Enrico, Jason Tucker suddenly rushed in frantically, upon seeing her and without regard to others in the house, he started speaking with a panicked face: "Mom, sothing’s happened."
Seeing there were still people in the house and that her son and grandson kept running to her like encountering ghosts, Adelia spoke irritably: "You’re a grown man, how can you be as rash as your son? What happened to make you this anxious?"
Jason took a deep breath, his brow deeply furrowed as he spoke: "I just heard the news; the prosecutors are getting involved with the No. 1 Middle School incident."
"What did you say?" Adelia sprang up, sensing the gravity of the situation and decisively had the guests sent away.
Once all the guests from the house had left,
she turned with an ugly expression to question her son: "What’s going on, how did they suddenly get involved in this?"
