Caryn Zachmann still didn’t know that Nathalie Quinlan had thoroughly defeated her.
She finished wiping her face, then did so aromatherapy before leisurely going downstairs to eat.
In the living room downstairs.
Leonardy Zachmann and Hendrik Zachmann were both present.
Celine Tucker was also there.
The servant had long prepared the al and placed it on the table, a variety of dishes laid out.
Caryn Zachmann walked over, pulled out the empty chair, and sat down. It was apparent she was in a good mood. She glanced at the dishes on the table, turned her head slightly with a smile, and spoke to Celine Tucker: "Mom, is there Matsutake Chicken Soup today?"
"I specifically asked soone to make it for you. Drink more, just to nourish yourself a bit; you look like you’ve lost weight recently." Celine Tucker placed the chicken soup near her and smiled as well.
"Mm." Caryn served herself a bowl of chicken soup, elegantly used a spoon to take a sip, and gracefully praised, "Mrs. Denio’s skills are getting better and better."
Celine Tucker picked so food for her and gently said, "If it tastes good, eat more."
Hendrik Zachmann watched the warm interaction between the two but had no appetite. He hadn’t picked up his chopsticks and instead looked at the person drinking soup, speaking in a deep voice: "Caryn, did you delete the Twitter post?"
The atmosphere at the dining table was originally harmonious.
At least, it looked that way on the surface.
Once Hendrik ntioned Twitter, it tore open the underlying discord of the al.
Caryn Zachmann’s smile instantly faded away, her expression gradually cooled, and she stopped drinking the soup, placing the spoon down without a word, ignoring the conversation.
"You’ve already caused a scene and vented your anger. The Twitter post should be deleted. Leaving it up, do you expect Mr. Avalon to co and apologize to you?" Hendrik was also holding back anger, inevitably speaking in a heavy tone.
Caryn imdiately flared up, eting his eyes without the slightest intention of backing down, and threw down her utensils: "Shouldn’t they apologize to ?"
The tension between the two was becoming palpable.
Leonardy Zachmann intervened to diate: "Alright, alright, no more arguing."
His scholarly and elegant face was firm and resolute as he turned his head to Caryn and said, "Caryn, delete the Twitter post first."
"Dad." Caryn seed incredulous that even he would say this. Her long lashes drooped, visibly showing her grievance and dissatisfaction.
Celine Tucker was equally displeased with the father and son’s stance, completely siding with Caryn: "What do you all an by this? Caryn is the one who was wronged, so why don’t you ask Nathalie Quinlan to delete her post! Just because Caryn is understanding and obedient, you let her be wronged?"
"That’s not what I ant."
Leonardy Zachmann was vexed and looked at her: "Caryn shouldn’t have dragged Mr. Avalon and the Chinese dicine departnt into this on Twitter. Now everyone is attacking Mr. Avalon, what kind of situation is this?"
Caryn kept a cold face, expressionless as she spoke: "I can delete the Twitter post, but I have one condition—Nathalie Quinlan must apologize to !"
Hendrik and Leonardy both looked at her.
Caryn slightly lifted her chin, her eyes filled with pride, and slowly said, word by word: "As long as she apologizes to , I can delete the Twitter post. But she must apologize to in person, and also on Twitter."
Hendrik pictured the girl’s cool, black eyes and felt an imdiate headache.
Nathalie Quinlan’s personality would never allow her to bow to Caryn Zachmann; her demand was essentially a refusal to delete the Twitter post.
