Zevaney Kingsley looked at her with a hint of amusent: "Leave? Ms. Zachmann, where do you want to go? The police station?"
Caryn Zachmann kept a straight face, her eyes fixed intently on her.
Zevaney, unconcerned, placed her hand on her knee and continued with a half-smile, "You can’t possibly be unaware that your dicine killed soone, right?"
At the ntion of this, Caryn’s face turned ashen, and despite her efforts to appear calm and composed, the evasive look in her eyes betrayed her fear.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about."
She turned her head aside after speaking, then looked back at Zevaney, gritting her teeth, "It’s not up to you to decide if there’s sothing wrong with my dicine! The Overseas dical Association can vouch for ..."
The middle-aged man next to Zevaney and the strong man who barged into the Zachmann Family ho looked at her as if she were an idiot.
Because to them, Caryn Zachmann was an idiot at that mont!
Zevaney didn’t expect Caryn to say such a thing either, and was montarily stunned. After regaining her composure, her smile grew more enigmatic: "Haven’t you checked Twitter?"
"..." A vague unease crept into Caryn’s heart, watching her warily: "What Twitter?"
Zevaney didn’t waste words, opened the Twitter page on her phone, and tossed it to her, looking down at her casually: "Take a look first."
Caryn didn’t imdiately reach for the phone but stared at Zevaney with a questioning look.
Who was Zevaney? For Zevaney, coming personally to Beijing was already a gracious gesture, and she didn’t even consider Caryn worth her attention.
Caryn didn’t take the phone, nor did Zevaney rush her, speaking slowly, "I advise you to hurry; after all, I don’t have much patience."
She glanced at Caryn’s face again, laughing as if amused, "Or is it that Ms. Zachmann doesn’t dare to look?"
Caryn was still hesitant, but hearing this, she expressionlessly took the phone from in front of her, ’proving’ herself with her actions.
Zevaney didn’t waste words either, folded her arms, and sat quietly on the chair waiting for her to finish.
After taking the phone, Caryn looked down at it with a grim expression.
She had been detained for a day and a night.
She hadn’t touched a phone or any communication device for a full day and night.
Outwardly, she pretended to be goaded into taking the phone, but in her heart, she was calculating how to seize the opportunity to call ho. She was initially distracted, thinking of how to escape, but then caught an unintentional glimpse of the content on Twitter.

Caryn did not read the last line of text; her pupils contracted only on seeing the part about never being employed as stated on the Overseas dical Association’s Twitter!
Her mind went blank and she could hardly breathe.
Never employed...
She had just been expelled from the Pharmaceutical Association, and now the Overseas dical Association publicly announced the cancellation of her associate director position... Both major organizations in the dical world announced in quick succession that she would never be hired, equivalent to each giving her a face slap.
She could no longer care about her current predicant, her hand clutching the phone trembled constantly as she anxiously opened the Twitter comnts.
