Brian Bonette was silent for a second, looked at the girl and said, "I heard the resources at The First Research Institute are allocated based on laboratory grades. The higher the grade of the laboratory, the better the resources you get. The Level 3 laboratory isn’t bad, it’s just... I thought you would get into a Level 6 or 7 laboratory."
Brian Bonette even thought that based on Nathalie Quinlan’s results, she could get into the elusive Level 8 laboratory and access the top resources.
No one expected the final result to be just a Level 3 laboratory.
Alfred Garland gritted his teeth, with veins popping on his temples, he responded, "This is just unfair!"
Only Amadeus Yancey wasn’t surprised, leaning against the edge of the sofa, he spoke calmly, "She’s not an Inderian, The First Research Institute is exclusionary just the sa."
Inderia itself is an exclusionary place.
The First Research Institute seems neutral, but in reality, the internal atmosphere isn’t much different from Inderia’s. They like forming cliques and creating small factions.
Despite saying that, Amadeus Yancey still straightened up, walked over to the girl, handed her a cup of hot water, with his eyelids lowered showing strong concern: "Are you alright?"
Nathalie Quinlan held the mug; steam rose from the hot water inside, accentuating her facial features, making them even more stunning.
The girl was extrely calm, lowered her head to take a sip, then raised her head and spoke casually, "It’s nothing, just a minor issue."
Amadeus Yancey’s brow relaxed, his thin lips curled into a knowing smile, "This is just the beginning."
Nathalie Quinlan shot him a glance, her fair and beautiful hand tapping on the mug, her expression carefree and extrely calm, "I know."
"Just a Level 3 laboratory." She stretched her neck and shoulders, put the mug on the table, her tone incredibly bold: "Just fewer resources, it’s not like there are no resources, it doesn’t affect my experints anyway."
"The institute is exclusionary, but once you’re in the lab, everything is about proving yourself with your capabilities!"
She had anticipated this result from the beginning, and indeed, it turned out to be true.
Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t surprised, nor did she mind.
Her original goal was simply to first get into the institute and take it from there!
