When Nathalie Quinlan arrived, Hansel Kingsley was already seated, waiting for her.
The elder wore coarse linen clothes, appearing detached, but the tea set and dishes in front of him were all exquisite and rare.
Nathalie Quinlan glanced at the alabaster teapot set on his table, then looked at the elder with white hair and a beard, a high-minded air, and couldn’t help but curl her lips into a rather dry smile.

Jas Lawrence felt a bit awkward, but having experienced the cold indifference of this young miss multiple tis before, he was accustod to it.
After all, he had encountered even more frustrating situations than this, so Nathalie Quinlan’s aloofness wasn’t particularly surprising for him.
Jas Lawrence composed himself, politely leading the way: "Please follow ."

The elder cradled a teacup in his hands, then finally looked up, calmly glanced at the girl, and said, "Sit."
Nathalie Quinlan pulled out a chair and, without wasting ti, began with, "You need sothing from ?"
Hansel Kingsley sowhat didn’t expect her to co, yet to have this kind of attitude.
He assud that if Nathalie Quinlan was willing to co, she would surely want to acknowledge her roots and return to the Kingsleys Family.
But her attitude... didn’t seem to suggest that intention.
He pondered briefly, not showing much expression on his face: "I heard your research institute’s ranking results ca out, and you were placed in a level 3 laboratory?"
"Seems so." Nathalie Quinlan took a glass for herself, poured a glass of plain water, her brows and eyes carefree and indifferent, with a hint of rebelliousness.
Hansel Kingsley, for the first ti, saw such a young person with such an aura, like a young wolf, clearly not soone easy to dominate, naturally defiant and difficult to deal with.
He frowned, a hint of displeasure flashing in his eyes, but the Kingsleys Family needed capable direct-line descent, and since Nathalie Quinlan had talent in the field of black powder and successfully entered the research institute, he had to endure and said, "Your results shouldn’t just be a level 3 laboratory."
