Amadeus Yancey looked at the four words ’Diamond big shot’ sent by Vincent Moore, uncertain of what ca to mind, his slender fingertips pressed against his brow bone, and he lowered his eyes with a smile.
He replied to Vincent Moore.

The next day, Nathalie Quinlan got up early in the morning.
With Alfred Garland not around, the task of making breakfast fell on the slacker Sadam Vinson’s shoulders, who was typically a pampered gentleman.
He was used to the lifestyle of ’clothes handed out and food served’ himself, so he didn’t know how to cook at all.
Every morning, he would just heat up so slices of bread in the toaster, boil a few eggs, and pour out two cups of milk.
One cup for Nathalie Quinlan, the other for himself.
As for Amadeus Yancey, he usually drank a cup of black coffee in the morning to refresh himself, as he was accustod to this Western-style breakfast.
"Morning, Nathalie."
Nathalie Quinlan got up early in the morning and pulled out the chair next to the dining table, seeing Sadam Vinson carrying two cups of milk over, placing one in front of her.
But besides the cup of hot milk Sadam Vinson brought, there was a bowl of soup noodles and a plate of side dishes in front of her, along with a pair of chopsticks.
Having not seen such a hearty breakfast for a long ti, Nathalie Quinlan raised her eyebrows in surprise, glancing at Sadam Vinson carrying a plate of toast back.
"You made this?"
"How could I?" Sadam Vinson saw her ntion the soup noodles, clutching his toast as he sat opposite her, lanting, "Amadeus made it."
He didn’t miss the chance to bitterly add a sentence: "He only made one bowl for you, I got nothing."
Nathalie Quinlan looked towards the kitchen; there seed to be no one there, so she asked Sadam Vinson, "Where is he?"
"Vincent Moore found him, he went out first thing in the morning, probably busy with sothing," Sadam Vinson said, thinking of sothing, as he took a bite of the toast, looked longingly at the girl, and asked, "What did you do yesterday? How did Amadeus end up wounded?"
He referred to the wound as the bright teeth marks he was shocked to find on Amadeus Yancey’s thin lips this morning, clearly the result of soone biting.
"Cough." Nathalie Quinlan was drinking milk, and it caught in her throat, causing her to cough imdiately.
He’s parading around with teeth marks on his lips???

"Forget it, I don’t want to know anymore." No seeing her reaction, Sadam Vinson, feeling dejected as a lonely single man, instantly said, "A single dog doesn’t deserve to know."
Nathalie Quinlan had no plans to answer him, she adjusted her deanor and returned to her usual calm, casually continuing to drink the milk in her cup.
Sadam Vinson munched on two bites of toast, then said to the girl, "Nathalie, you go ahead and eat, once you’re done, I’ll take you to the research institute."
Nathalie Quinlan looked up, about to say it’s unnecessary.
He interrupted her, sounding increasingly exasperated, "Amadeus said you were too tired yesterday, and instructed to definitely take you to the research institute today."
He emphasized the words ’too tired,’ the bitterness of being a single dog evident, eyeing Nathalie Quinlan with suspicion, wondering if Amadeus would be so reckless given Nathalie hadn’t reached legal age yet, would Amadeus be so eager to make a move on Nathalie?
But he was so ’considerate’ last night, always staying in his room without coming out, he really didn’t know what the situation was yesterday night!
However, Nathalie Quinlan, upon hearing his words, felt a headache, the soup noodles in the bowl appearing less appetizing, she put down the chopsticks and grabbed the duckbill cap beside her, putting it on as she said to Sadam Vinson, "Let’s go."
