Agnes Baker was taken aback for a mont, then realized what was happening and found it sowhat amusing. She imdiately waved her hand to deny it: "Harvey, you misunderstood. Nathalie Quinlan isn’t angry."
Harvey Cadorette looked at her again: "Then why didn’t she co today?"
"She ca." Agnes paused, uncertain how to explain the complicated situation from that morning.
Additionally, with so many people in the 8th level laboratory, it wasn’t convenient to discuss Williansen Barness’s matter, so she explained vaguely.
"She ca to the Institute in the morning but went outside due to a sudden situation. I don’t know if she’ll co this afternoon. Anyway, she’s not angry and hasn’t taken yesterday’s minor incident too seriously."
Harvey listened confusedly, but he caught onto the main point: "What sudden situation? Did sothing happen?"
"No." Agnes had noticed so people were watching them, so she maintained a cautious distance from Harvey and playfully stuck out her tongue, changing the subject: "Harvey, I’m not talking to you anymore, I’m heading next door."
"Agnes..." Harvey hadn’t even had ti to call her back.
Agnes had already dashed away.
It seed as if she feared he would hold onto her and not let go.
Which left Harvey both amused and helpless, only able to watch her figure disappear.
At this mont, Leony Davidson had sohow arrived at his side, and together they watched Agnes’s retreating figure. Her willow leaf eyebrows furrowed as she couldn’t help but complain: "She really can’t take any hardship. It’s just a few experints, and she can’t handle it and wants a break!"
Seeing her approach, Harvey withdrew his gaze and resud his mature and steady deanor, not responding: "I’m going to continue with that experint. The tutor wants to see it tomorrow."
"Alright." Leony knew he was talking about the semiconductor experint.
This was currently the biggest project in the 8th level laboratory.
Leony and the others weren’t qualified to join.
For now, only Harvey was assisting Orson Saban.
Leony had been jealous, but Harvey’s qualifications in the laboratory were higher than hers, with comprehensive strength superior to hers.
She could only feel a bit bitter inside, but tried not to show it too obviously.
With such a large experintal project, Leony herself was very interested; just as Harvey brought it up, she casually asked: "Harvey, is the tutor not in the laboratory recently because of the project?"
"Yeah."
Everyone was part of the sa laboratory.
Harvey didn’t hide it from her: "We encountered a tricky problem during project progression, so the tutor went to see the dean."
The dean he referred to was naturally Nicholas Fuller of The First Research Institute.
When Leony heard Orson went to see Nicholas Fuller, she didn’t dare to inquire further, decided to quit while she was ahead, and started contemplating if she had any chance to join the project.

On the other side, as soon as Agnes walked out of the range of the 8th level laboratory, she received a ssage from Nathalie Quinlan assuring her safety.
[Q: Williansen is fine.]
Agnes looked at the brief text ssage on her phone, wishing she could see a flower bloom out of it. She was scratching her head anxiously, wanting to ask what had happened.
She, Wincent Sullivan, and Williansen Barness had a small group chat that had been set up before Nathalie ca. After Nathalie joined, they created a new group.
Agnes was afraid it wouldn’t be appropriate to rush into the main group and ask.
So she opened the small three-person group that hadn’t been used in a while and @-ed Williansen.

[Radiant Jewels: Are you coming to the Institute this afternoon?]
[Radiant Jewels: Today, Harvey specifically asked about Nathalie. Does anyone know if she’s coming this afternoon?]
