"I’ll go with you." Amadeus Yancey picked up the car keys.
Nathalie Quinlan walked to the door, her steps paused.
This ti, she was quite resolute. Her face turned slightly cold: "No, this ti you don’t get involved, I’ll handle it myself."
Until Nathalie walked away.
The living room of the villa was still extrely quiet; almost no one made a sound.
Sadam Vinson, slowly coming to his senses, licked his lips and asked dumbfoundedly, "Amadeus, Nathalie told us not to interfere, are we really not going to intervene this ti? How is she going to confront the Kingsleys Family alone?"
The girl had long gone, Amadeus Yancey still held the car keys in his hand, his eyelids lowered, his thoughts unknown.
Vincent Moore, Zed Moore, and Alfred Garland were all looking at him.
Just waiting for his command.
The people from the Hacker Alliance and the Yandor Sect were also watching his every move. Everyone in the villa held their breath, their expressions tense, heartbeats quickening.
However, Amadeus Yancey did not order them as they had expected, to follow her. Instead, he twirled the car keys around his finger, walked back, tossed the keys onto the tea table, and sat down on the sofa, half-narrowing his deep eyes: "Wait for the ssage."
Alfred Garland did not understand: "Amadeus, aren’t you going to help Ms. Quinlan? Ms. Quinlan is alone, what if..."
Sadam Vinson thought the sa, looking at Amadeus Yancey, equally unable to comprehend his actions at this ti.
But no matter how they looked.
Amadeus Yancey’s face showed hardly any emotion, looking extrely indifferent, only saying, "She said she wants to handle it herself this ti."
"Ms. Quinlan did say that, but we..." Alfred Garland was about to say ’we’ll just ignore her’.
Who would have thought Amadeus Yancey wouldn’t give him a chance to continue: "Since she said it, we’ll wait for now. If she needs help, she’ll tell us."
Sadam Vinson moved his lips.
"Until she says, no one should interfere." Amadeus Yancey settled the matter.
He spoke.
No one in the villa dared to go against his will.
Sadam Vinson’s face inevitably showed anxiety and worry, whereas Vincent Moore and Zed Moore were incredibly calm, appearing extrely confident.
Zed Moore slyly patted Sadam Vinson’s back, serenely said: "Mr. Vinson, don’t forget, that’s Ms. Quinlan! Don’t be too worried."
Sadam Vinson looked up at him.
Zed Moore t his gaze, completely candid: "If you’d seen how Ms. Quinlan single-handedly overturned the Chamber of Comrce Alliance, you wouldn’t be so nervous now."
"Nathalie single-handedly overturned the Chamber of Comrce Alliance? When did this happen? Why didn’t I know?" Sadam Vinson looked baffled.
Inderia’s power landscape is filled with hundreds of various forces, among them the three top families, as well as weaker branches like the Sullivan Family.
The Chamber of Comrce Alliance is considered a moderate force among them, supported by major powers behind the scenes, not easy to deal with.
Sadam Vinson didn’t follow Amadeus Yancey to Inderia last ti, so naturally, he didn’t know what happened there before.
He thought Nathalie had behaved exceptionally restrained and obedient when she ca to Inderia with Mr. Wafford and others the last ti.
Now it seems... the chance of Master Quinlan being obedient is almost zero.
"Just previous events." Zed Moore comfortably chatted with him, briefly summarizing how Nathalie hacked into the Chamber of Comrce Alliance’s system alone last ti, aiding them in capturing Torre.
Sadam Vinson listened in bewildernt, as if hearing a storyteller.
