Almost all the Kingsleys Family’s key figures were present.
Even Lynn Kingsley, who seldom appeared outside the manor, was there; everyone was waiting at the entrance of the ergency departnt of the Kingsleys’ private hospital, each with a solemn expression.
Jas Lawrence was the last to arrive.
When he arrived, the corridor was filled with the Kingsleys’ bigwigs, a rare and impressive scene.
He unconsciously shifted from a jog to a cautious walk as he approached.
But his heart was pounding.
Zevaney Kingsley and Willy Kingsley were also there.
In such a setting, they were like insignificant characters, couldn’t even say a word.
With those big figures from the Kingsleys not speaking, they dared not speak either; they simply waited for the doctor to co out.
Ten minutes later.
The door of the ergency room opened.
A doctor in a white coat ca out, saw so many people gathered outside, took off his mask, and solemnly said, "Mr. Kingsley, the patient’s right hand cannot be saved."
The crowd in the corridor stirred.
Jas Lawrence’s heart skipped a beat.
Right hand?
The Sixth Elder’s right hand was ruined?!
He imdiately recalled Nathalie Quinlan’s words to him about three hours ago when she invited him out for a drink.
...She had said she wanted Hansel Kingsley’s hand.
Jas Lawrence’s eyelids twitched; amid his shock, he also felt doubtful. They had parted less than three hours ago; could the Little Miss really possess such capability?
But if this was a coincidence, it was too much of a coincidence!
Jas Lawrence chose to keep his head down, remained silent, and didn’t ntion Nathalie Quinlan’s prior words to the others, deciding to keep it hidden for Nathalie.
"You say it can’t be saved? How could..." soone skeptically spoke to the doctor.
The doctor, however, was quite certain: "Yes, we’ve checked, the patient’s hand cannot be saved. The bones at the wrist joint are completely crushed, impossible to repair. From this, we can see that the opposing side never intended to leave any retreat for the patient. They aid to cripple the hand from the start."
Everyone in the Kingsleys Family fell silent once again.
Lynn Kingsley shut his eyes tightly, only reopening them after a good minute’s pause, instructing the doctor to try, to see if saving it was possible, and to only give up if absolutely necessary.
The doctor sighed, shook his head, and returned to the ergency room.

"Who did it?" Lynn Kingsley asked in a mild tone after the doctor went in, directing the question toward Zevaney Kingsley.
All eyes in the corridor focused on Zevaney Kingsley, everyone was watching her, awaiting her response.
Zevaney Kingsley was tense under their gaze, pressed her lips together, and softly said, "I don’t know."
"Don’t know?" Lynn Kingsley’s eyes were icy sharp as he stared at her: "Those people didn’t reveal themselves?"
Zevaney Kingsley shook her head again, her face pale but relatively calm for the mont, clearly responded: "No. They all showed their faces and barged in boldly. After coming in, they directly sought the Sixth Elder and said they wanted one of his hands, claiming... it was their boss’s command."
Boldly barging into the compartnt without hiding faces and demanding the hand of a revered direct-line elder of the Kingsleys Family!
So brazen!
Everyone in the Kingsleys Family had extrely grim expressions.
Jas Lawrence’s eyebrows jumped; he dared not speak even more.

So reminiscent of Nathalie Quinlan!
Utter boldness.
Yet despite the boldness, it was transparent, completely devoid of any shady underhanded tactics; the audacity was openly displayed.
