Oh, so for the university entrance exam, the student can choose the major they like, and it’s Tsinghua University’s dical Departnt that’s bending over backwards for her, right?!
Adelle Wafford was choked with anger, and without a mont’s hesitation, she changed her conciliatory tone, "Mr. Jones, since your school’s student is so confident, then let her take the exam. I’ll be waiting to see her get into Tsinghua’s dical Departnt in three months!"
Does she think Tsinghua University is that easy to get into?
To aim for Tsinghua University from a small place like McKinney, one would need to be at least within the top ten of the whole city.
Before she arrived, she had seen Nathalie Quinlan’s grades, which, except for one decent mock exam after transferring to McKinney No. 1 Middle School, were a complete ss at other tis.
Not to ntion the top ten in the city, she couldn’t even make it into the top one thousand!
And yet she has the audacity to claim in front of her that ’the university entrance exam is better because you can choose the major you like’!
Ridiculous!
"Mr. Jones, let’s pretend I never ntioned that guaranteed admission spot," she said.
"Professor Wafford, please don’t be like this..." The principal felt overwheld and moved his lips, at a loss for how to salvage the situation.
Still feeling unsatisfied, Adelle Wafford cast another glance at Nathalie Quinlan and dropped a parting shot, "Oh, right, since you’re so keen on studying Chinese dicine, in one month there will be independent recruitnt exams for the university entrance exams. Both the Clinical dicine and the Chinese dicine departnts will participate in these recruitnt exams, and you’re welco to take part."
She ant it as a challenge and mockery, but never thought Nathalie Quinlan would take it lightly. Nathalie curved her red lips, a mischievous glint in her eyes, and readily accepted, "Alright, I’ll be there on ti."
"..." Adelle Wafford found herself speechless once more, the words caught in her throat.
Hmph!
Does this Nathalie Quinlan really think she’s being invited? Well then, she couldn’t wait to see whether everyone thought Chinese dicine was better or Western dicine!
...
After leaving the principal’s office, Nathalie Quinlan went back to the classroom.
As soon as she walked in.
She was greeted by a chorus of hellos.
"Nathalie, good morning."
"Nathalie, good morning."
"Nathalie, good morning."
"..."
Nathalie Quinlan raised an eyebrow, hand in pocket, confused by what they were doing.
What’s the aning of suddenly greeting her this way?
And she could distinctly feel, ever since she stepped into the classroom, all eyes were fixed on her, with a curiosity as if they were seeing a monkey in the zoo.
Feeling sowhat irritated, Nathalie pushed her chair back and sat down.
The mont she did, Justin Wafford gave her an orange candy, asking with a grin, "Nathalie, I’ve heard all about it. Are you going to Tsinghua’s dical Departnt? Brother, if you co into wealth, don’t forget , alright!"
"Nathalie, you were just at the principal’s office, did he really talk to you about a guaranteed admission to Tsinghua?" Jhovany Sullivan was also enviously excited, her round apple cheeks flushed with eagerness, and her big eyes full of longing, "Which major in the dical Departnt are you planning on choosing?"
dicine is divided into many disciplines.
Clinical dicine, Pathology, Biodical Sciences, Psychology... and it seems that even Chinese dicine, the least prestigious of all.
But since Tsinghua University ca all the way to scout, Nathalie probably had nothing to do with the worst major, right?
Several pairs of eyes were fixed on her, waiting for her answer, and Nathalie finally understood why she felt like she was on display like a monkey the mont she entered the classroom.
She nonchalantly took out her phone from her bag, touched her red lips, and replied, "Chinese dicine."
"Ah?" Jhovany Sullivan had the biggest reaction, because just as she had convinced herself that Nathalie would never pick Chinese dicine from all the hot majors, she turned her head and heard that Nathalie wanted to study Chinese dicine.
