Now reading: Chapter 316: Gave Her a Stack of Exam Information1 from The Unveiling of Secret Queen, a Romance novel by Brother Ling.

He had set the precedent, and teachers from all subjects, whether they belonged to Class A or not, sward to give Nathalie Quinlan a practice book each that they personally recomnded, asking her to take it ho for review.

Nathalie, who had initially co to ask for leave, suddenly found herself holding a stack of books and exam papers. Her temples throbbed as she looked at the ’supplentary materials’ cradled in her arms, which she knew were essentially useless. Taming the brashness in her eyes, she accepted all the items that the teachers from various classes had pushed on her and said, "I will try my best."

She had looked at the cultural exam for Tsinghua University’s autonomous admission and found it of moderate difficulty; she was sure she could tackle it casually, but as for how many points she wanted to score, she’d decide at that mont!

The thing Nathalie was more concerned about was whether the Chinese dicine Departnt would participate in this autonomous admission exam.

Because last year, during Tsinghua University’s autonomous admission, all other disciplines of the dical Departnt took part, except the Chinese dicine Departnt. No enrollnt ant no quotas, and taking the exam would have been in vain.

She wondered if the Chinese dicine Departnt would participate this year...

As she lost herself in thoughts about whether the Chinese dicine Departnt would be part of the admissions, to Nancy Sullivan, it seed as though Nathalie was under imnse pressure.

Nancy Sullivan glared at the ddling horoom teacher of Class C, then patted Nathalie’s shoulder, "Don’t worry, just do your best and don’t put too much pressure on yourself. You’re still young and have plenty of opportunities. If not Tsinghua, there’s Southern University, which is almost on par. With your talent, as long as you’re willing to work hard and put in the effort in the last few months before the college entrance exam, getting into Southern University will be more than achievable!"

The Class C horoom teacher, having been glared at, touched his nose and said sheepishly, "Exactly, we’re just joking with you, don’t take it to heart. It’s been three years since No. 1 Middle School produced a student who got into Tsinghua, and that was Zayn Fisher.

No one has gotten in over the past two years; it shows how tough Tsinghua is. Just treat it as a trial to relax, then when you return, Mr. Sullivan will tutor you well, and you can still get into a top university!"

Worried that he might continue and add to Nathalie’s ntal burden, Nancy Sullivan found a chance to stop his babble and looked up to tell Nathalie, "Alright, you’ve asked for leave, so rest well at ho tomorrow. I’ll be waiting for good news from you."

"Mhm." Nathalie was never good at dealing with teachers, so after sharing a word with Nancy Sullivan, she walked out of the teacher’s office, hugging the extra stack of ’review materials.’

No sooner had she left than the Class C horoom teacher leaned in, a burly man eager for gossip, and asked, "Mr. Sullivan, do you think Nathalie stands a chance of getting into Tsinghua this ti?"

He personally doubted it!

He had also asked other teachers privately, and they shared his opinion; they all thought Nathalie was too cocky to have rejected the invitation from the Tsinghua expert who had approached her.

Now, she had cast aside a sure-thing in a top-tier major to participate in an autonomous exam.

Autonomous exams are far more difficult than the college entrance exam, with a written test followed by an interview. The scores of both are combined, and only the top 10 candidates will be admitted: 3000 to 10, which ans on average, only one out of 300 can make it. The ratio seems much higher than the college entrance exam, but considering that all the candidates are top students from their schools, the odds are akin to buying a lottery ticket!

Nancy Sullivan spun her swivel chair back to her spot, opened up the teaching materials for the next day, and began writing with her pen. Without raising her head, she said, "What’s impossible? If Tsinghua specifically sent soone to scout her, it ans she is the best candidate. I believe she can make it."

With that, the Class C horoom teacher sullenly returned to his seat and sighed, "It’s just a pity she didn’t agree at the ti. I’ve always wondered, what’s wrong with clinical dicine? Aren’t all students from Tsinghua’s dical Departnt top in the hospitals’ surgery departnts?"
