Zayn Fisher’s face instantly turned beet red, as if soone were repeatedly choking him; he couldn’t believe what he was hearing and clutched the book in his hand tighter, the veins on the back of his hand bulging as he said, "Nathalie Quinlan, when did you beco so vulgar!"

At least he had never heard Ghania Quinlan say such a thing!
His brows furrowed deeply, and he began to grow impatient; his thin lips parted to say, "I’ve said what needed to be said to you. If you refuse to listen and insist on humiliating yourself, I can’t stop you..."

Nathalie Quinlan’s brow twisted, her eyes dark as ink, just about to retort with scorn when suddenly a voice interjected from behind—

His height, well over six feet tall, made the trench coat end right by his legs, highlighting his lean figure, wide shoulders, narrow waist, and especially long legs that were extrely striking.
Nathalie Quinlan was so focused on looking at his coat that she did not notice that what he said was actually the key point.
Several students from Class A were stunned by that ’girlfriend,’ including Zayn Fisher!
Only she, naturally filtering out the word ’girlfriend’ as if it was nothing, asked curiously, "How did you co here?"
Amadeus Yancey’s eyes shimred with a hint of mirth as he spoke with his head lowered, in an indulgent tone, "Alfred Garland said you were being detained and couldn’t leave, so I ca to have a look."
When speaking to Nathalie Quinlan, his deanor was as mild as a spring breeze, but his eyes on Zayn Fisher darkened like a nacing warning, and yet, when he spoke, his lips curled into a relaxed smile, "Mr. Fisher, did you just say soone was about to humiliate themselves? Nathalie Quinlan?"
Upon seeing him, Zayn Fisher’s confidence faltered, and his handso face suddenly took on a sleazy look, his expression one of confusion, his eyes flickering, "I, I didn’t an that."
Amadeus Yancey looked amiable, but asked gently, "Oh? Then what did you an?"
Zayn Fisher: "..."
What he ant... was just the literal sense of the words! He did not think highly of Nathalie Quinlan’s chances at Tsinghua University and felt that her insistence on taking Tsinghua’s independent admissions exam was an act of public humiliation.
But could he say that directly?
If Amadeus Yancey hadn’t been there, he might have said what he thought, but with Amadeus present... Zayn Fisher felt both humiliated and embarrassed, gripping the workbook in his hand and regretting coming to the gates of No. 1 Middle School to confront Nathalie Quinlan.
He hadn’t planned to co, but his mother, after overhearing his phone call with Ghania, and learning that Nathalie Quinlan was also applying to Tsinghua, insisted on him coming over to deliver this information.
She said that delivering the information would, at the very least, ease their relationship.
But now it seed that Nathalie Quinlan had no need to ease anything with him; she had already cozied up to the influential Amadeus Yancey and was quite content!
Amadeus Yancey appeared to see right through his thoughts, and suddenly said lazily, "You’re not aware that Adelle Wafford from Tsinghua specially visited McKinney No. 1 Middle School?"
Zayn Fisher abruptly lifted his head.
He himself was a student of the Finance Departnt at Tsinghua.
Although not the dical Departnt, he was still sowhat aware of the top specialties of his university.
The two most formidable programs at Tsinghua were Finance and dicine!
He originally chose to study Finance firstly because his own chemistry scores were diocre, secondly to better take over the Fisher Family business later, and there was an unadmitted reason that the dical Departnt’s required scores were actually twenty points higher than the Finance Departnt’s.
The total score was 650, and twenty points might not seem like much.
