Shawn Norton laughed in spite of himself, "You kid..."
He said this, but his head shook, taking the item to save face, telling her, "Alright, I’ll rember. The vitamin you gave is like a panacea; if I really run into a life-threatening situation, I’ll use it to save soone."
He ant it half-jokingly, half-teasingly, but who would have guessed the girl sitting opposite him would naturally respond with an "Mhm," as if she hadn’t been joking at all.
He couldn’t help but laugh in spite of himself again.
"Sorry to interrupt," just as they were speaking, the waiter brought over the water, her face flushed as she stole glances at Nathalie Quinlan, saying bashfully, "Um... the water you asked for."
