The two teachers in charge of surveillance held the sealed examination papers with a stern voice and said, "You all must be the good students of your schools since you have co to take the exam. I won’t go over the rules again, hand in your phones and other electronic devices yourselves. Once discovered, it’s not just about disqualifying you from the exam, but a note will also be made in your record, which could affect your college entrance exams two months from now."

"Additionally, there are four surveillance caras installed in the classroom. No whispering to each other during the exam, and all of your little movents should be kept to yourselves. Don’t rely on luck, because every action you take is under the watch of the caras during the exam."

"As you are all good students, I will not say much more. Just focus on the exam and do your best!"

With that said, one teacher verified the information on the admission tickets, while the other began to distribute the examination papers.

Nathalie Quinlan was sitting by the window. Unlike the other students’ tense and focused expressions, she seed too calm when the invigilating teacher checked up on her.

The teacher couldn’t help but take a second look at her admission ticket.

"Nathalie Quinlan?"

That na sounded familiar, as if heard sowhere before.

Could it be the sa na as the student Mr. Norton had ntioned?

Just as he was thinking this, he heard a slightly hoarse voice respond, "Hmm."

Coming back to his senses, he compared the photo on the admission ticket with the one on the ID card, glanced at the person, and handed down the exam papers. Winston Sullivan couldn’t explain why, but he found himself saying, "Do well on the exam."

Nathalie Quinlan was originally looking at the papers but suddenly, upon hearing the encouragent from above, she paused, lifted her eyelids, and defiantly said,

"Mhm."

Once the papers were distributed, the classroom was filled with nothing but the rustling sound of pen tips scratching on paper. With just 4 hours and a hefty volu of questions, everyone chose to start with the subjects they were good at to get a feel before tackling the questions they were weak in.

But Winston Sullivan saw sothing different in one person.

It was that girl he had just given the papers to.

She was unlike anyone else, just flipping through the papers before taking a pen out of her pencil case and starting with the application questions, working her way backward!

His face showed a look of surprise, but he did not ddle further and walked around the examination hall with his hands behind his back...

Nathalie Quinlan’s speed at writing the exam was pretty fast, not one for niceties in her script, her block characters sprawled boldly across the page.

She started with chemistry, followed by physics, then mathematics, English, everything going smoothly.

Only when she got to the liberal arts did she stare at the dense words on the paper and feel her temples suddenly throb with pain.

Those who knew her, like Lowie Wilmar and Silvania Ingram, were aware that Nathalie Quinlan hated trouble!

And the long essays in liberal arts were exactly that kind of trouble.

Her pace gradually slowed down.

But the black characters continued to fill the blanks on the pages ceaselessly.

At Tsinghua University’s Office of Academic Affairs.

Everyone was waiting for the written papers of the students to co out as the exam papers were to be checked on the spot, with the goal to release the results that sa day.

Teachers from various departnts were also present.

Derliand Gober checked the ti, noting that three and a half hours had passed since the start of the exam.

There was half an hour left until the end, after which the papers would be delivered.

Rembering his protege’s request, he took the lead and said to the others in the room, "I’ll need to take out a paper to check the score as soon as they arrive."

This kind of practice was not new, so no one had any objections.

Adelle Wafford, aware that the score of his student couldn’t be too bad, glanced at the floating tea leaves in her cup, took a sip, set down the cup, and casually followed up with, "What a coincidence, I also have a student’s paper I’d like to see."
