Nathalie Quinlan had been holding her phone in one hand the whole ti, and upon hearing his words, she switched her pose, still looking rather casual, "We’ll see when the ti cos."
Aunt Cagwin hadn’t replied to her ssage yet, and she wasn’t sure if it was because Aunt had not seen the phone or for so other reason, but she needed to go check at the hospital first.
"That’s it for now, I’ll get back to you later." Out of the corner of her eye, Nathalie saw Justin Wafford grabbing his luggage and heading her way, so she lowered her eyelids and spoke to the person on the other end of the call.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Amadeus Yancey’s voice was relaxed and cheerful, indicating his good mood.
Nathalie felt an inexplicable surge of excitent due to his teasing tone, changed her pose while holding the phone, pursed her lips, and ended the call.
She had just hung up when the person dragging the suitcase behind her had already jogged over, panting and said apologetically, "Nathalie, I’m sorry for the wait. I’ve got my luggage, let’s go."
When Nathalie had bought the mineral water earlier, she had also bought a bottle for him. Seeing him approach, she took the water out of her backpack and tossed it to him with a lifted tail of her eye, saying with a bit of roguishness, "No need to rush, have so water first."
Justin Wafford caught the bottle she threw, looked down at it, and clicked his tongue—Evian. He rembered it cost 60 yuan a bottle; it was the rcedes-Benz among mineral waters, hardly anyone would buy a bottle at the airport in almost a month, yet Nathalie casually threw him an Evian.
His family conditions were good, nothing compared to Amadeus Yancey’s background, but much better than ordinary people. Justin Wafford never lacked pocket money since he was a child, and he could afford Evian water as well. Since Nathalie bought it for him, he didn’t make a fuss, unscrewed the cap, tilted his head back, and gulped down half the bottle, quelling the heat from his run. He then caught his breath, evened out his panting, capped the bottle, looked up to Nathalie, and asked, "Nathalie, any news about Freddy Cagwin?"
After a mont’s thought, he added, "I just called him while I was waiting for the luggage, his phone is still turned off. I also asked our classmates, everyone said Freddy hasn’t been to school. Jhovany Sullivan and the others are planning to go check his mom’s food stall tonight to see if he’s there..."
Ever since Nathalie had transferred to Class A, they had gone through a lot together and had beco more united, fostering a strong sense of class solidarity.
As soon as they heard Freddy was missing, everyone spontaneously started to look for him. But since they were still in the class term, all they could do was worry. Jhovany Sullivan thought to check Freddy’s mom’s food stall, and he had the sa idea. The best strategy was to look for him at the places he frequented most, where the chance of finding him was much greater.
"Besides helping his mom at the stall, the place he most often goes is the Grodia Bookstore in the city center. I’ll go there to look for him after I drop off my luggage..." Justin Wafford had planned out his task area enthusiastically.
Nathalie responded with a non-committal hum to their idea of searching the places he frequented.
After pondering for a mont, Justin turned to her again, looking worried, "What about you, Nathalie? Do you have any plans? Why don’t you join at the bookstore to look for him?"
"I... just a mont." Nathalie was about to ntion going to the hospital when her phone rang. She glanced at the display to see that Silvania Ingram was calling with an international number. She raised her hand to let Justin know and then stepped aside to answer the call first.
"Hello, Mrs. Ingram."
"Nathalie, I’ve asked the police departnt about the classmate you were inquiring about. They found him; he’s at the Alda Street police station. It seems he got into so trouble..."

The news of Freddy being at the police station was unexpected for Nathalie. Rarely showing surprise on her face, she frowned, her voice hoarse, "The police station?"
