Freddy Cagwin lifted his head abruptly upon hearing her tone, putting his sadness aside, trying to sit up from the chair, "Nathalie, don’t get involved in this."
He was afraid he would drag Nathalie down, truly afraid of it.
"I didn’t say I was going to get involved." Nathalie twirled her wrist, her jawline tense and smooth, her half-lidded eyes dark and deep, wildly saying, "I’m just itching to teach a few scumbags a lesson!"

Beijing.
Ghania Quinlan returned to the Sullivan Family’s villa in the Rich District from outside. Upon entering, she neatly changed into slippers in the hallway and saw soone in the living room. She quickly spoke softly, "I’m back."
Ivy Wilmar had just co back from the Wilmar family. These days, she’s been running between the piano association, her family, and ho, a loop that made her restless. The thick makeup couldn’t hide the weariness on her face. Seeing Ghania coming back from outside, Ivy pressed her temples and, slightly relaxing, leaned back on the sofa before asking, "I heard from the family driver that you went to have dinner with friends?"
"Yeah."
Ghania stopped in front of her, speaking respectfully, "They knew I had finished my exams and invited to lunch."
She paused, adding casually and deliberately, "Zeus Tanzil was there too."
Ivy turned her head with raised eyebrows, giving her a look, a slight smile on her face, "It looks like you get along with him just fine!"
"We’re all friends... just had a al together, not particularly close." Ghania replied hypocritically and shyly, lowering her head. She didn’t dare tell Ivy that she felt Zeus didn’t like her, as he had been subtly picking on her during the al.
Ivy didn’t take her words to heart, pulling her shawl around herself, dismissively saying, "First impressions lead to familiarity; you’ll get to know him better after a few more tis. If you can connect with him, it’ll be much easier for you to enter that circle in the future. The Tanzil family might seem unassuming in Beijing, but if you think they’re just an ordinary family, you’re being naive. Have you heard of Stephanie Tanzil?"
Stephanie Tanzil?
Ghania was initially unresponsive when she heard the na, but then she searched her mory quickly.
When Ivy ntioned the na, it wasn’t with the intention of making her guess. She knew that Ghania had grown up in McKinney without ever encountering the top circle there – much less the circles in Beijing.
There was an inevitable hint of condescension in Ivy’s eyes and brows as she spoke softly, "Boss of Belland dia, you’ve heard of Belland dia, haven’t you?"
Ghania had heard of it. She also detected the contempt and neglect in Ivy’s tone. She pursed her lips, clenched her fists, and then fearing Ivy would notice, quickly let go and nodded obediently, "I’m aware, it’s one of the largest dia companies in the country."
She had once been part of the internet celebrity circle, by posting photos on Twitter and sharing her Wealthy and Beautiful life to attract fans.
She had once thought about becoming a Star, using fa to promote herself, and then leveraging that fa to break into high society.
But two months after coming to Beijing, she had completely abandoned that idea.
Following Ivy, she encountered the real circles and discovered that the Stars were the ones most looked down upon in this circle – even top stars were seen as nothing more than irrelevant in their eyes. The second generation of the circle might also chase stars, but unlike ordinary people, they only treated them as playthings, never taking them seriously.
Even first-line top stars had to be extrely careful while catering to these people in the circle.
Ghania felt she had suddenly understood; she wanted to be a Star rely to enter the upper circle, which didn’t regard fa as important and even looked down on the profession of Stars, so she gave up on that idea.
