The boys huddled together to read the post were startled and hurriedly raised their phones, none daring to look at Nathalie Quinlan who had just walked in, their expressions guilty: "We, we are just looking at the school’s forum, that’s what it says there."
"Well, that doesn’t an you can spout nonsense!"
Jhovany Sullivan, the study committee mber, yelled this out, and the few boys all hung their heads as if they had done sothing wrong, too embarrassed to et Nathalie’s eyes, their voices quieter than a mosquito’s: "We also think the forum is just making things up, Nathalie took the baseline test at the Academic Affairs Office, with the headmaster and other officials watching, how could she possibly cheat."
But the person on the forum seed credible, sohow having obtained Nathalie’s past academic transcripts.
The grades were diocre at best, surely not enough to get into their A class.
It really did look like she had cheated or used connections to get in.
"Nathalie never cheated!"
Jhovany Sullivan stood firmly by Nathalie’s side, while holding her hand trying to get her to say a few words.
"Nathalie, tell them, it was on your own rit that you got in, you didn’t cheat like they said."
Several pairs of eyes fixed on her, Nathalie had never intended to respond to such nonsense, but she couldn’t stand her insistence, pursed her lips, appeared indifferent, and repeated the sa sentence: "Mouths belong on other people’s faces, let them say whatever they want."
"But how can you just let them talk nonsense?" Jhovany Sullivan beca anxious, mostly out of concern for her.
Having spent ti with Nathalie, she knew this new desk-mate of hers had a cool exterior but a warm heart, might appear unapproachable yet was truly kind.
For instance, just for helping her close a window, she received a beautiful bracelet as a welco gift.
And even when she didn’t help and actually caused her to ss up with ’The Exterminator,’ she didn’t bla herself.
At lunch today, it was Nathalie who silently picked up the tab at the cafeteria.
She was truly a good person, how could those people speak so irresponsibly.
Jhovany Sullivan turned around, clenched her hands into fists, and again told the few boys, "In any case, Nathalie definitely didn’t cheat! Those people are simply making things up, don’t believe them!"
Nathalie’s gaze lingered on her face, now flushed with anger, her eyes reflecting deeper thoughts.
The bell for the afternoon classes rang at that mont.
Returning to her seat, Nathalie leaned back in her chair, pulled out her phone, found No. 1 Middle School’s forum, and imdiately saw the post pinned to the top.

In Class B, Jane Bailey was diligently replying to ssages on the forum.
Seeing so many people casting doubts on Nathalie, her lips couldn’t help but curl upwards. Suddenly, a system alert popped up as she sent out a reply.

"Whoosh!"
Jane Bailey shot up from her seat, her face extrely unsightly, still holding her phone: "Deleted? Who deleted it!"
Class B was in the middle of a chemistry class, and the teacher had written two problems on the blackboard for everyone to try.
Her sudden outburst startled the people around her, who all turned to look in her direction.
