Govert Griffin echoed, "Indeed, I also think that Mr. Wilmar was a bit too impulsive."
In the midst of the argunt.
The old butler led soone in from outside.
Lowie Wilmar, with an air of nonchalance, rested his hand behind his head and looked past Raymond Wilmar and his group, lifting his thin lips, "Here cos the person."
Has she arrived?
The crowd turned their heads to follow his gaze—
They saw the girl, who followed the Wilmar Family’s butler in, walking in a lax manner, donning a black sweater with a duckbill cap, probably due to the cold, she also had the hood of her hoodie fastened over her head, with her hands tucked into her pockets, an earphone cord trailing from the edge of her cap into her ear, wearing a pair of canvas shoes on her feet, black high-top Converse, her every step steady yet exuding a casual vibe.
Upon first glance, Sadam Vinson’s impression was one word—youthful!
When Caryn Zachmann told him that Lowie Wilmar had invited a miracle doctor from McKinney, the image in his mind was of an octogenarian elder, a thin and lanky figure clad in a Sun Yat-sen suit, reminiscent of an itinerant doctor depicted in TV dramas.
But upon actually seeing this ’miracle doctor’ from McKinney, not to ntion the older generation, even he, who prided himself on being young and modern, found it a bit hard to accept.
He scrutinized the girl walking in, curiosity shining in his eyes.
How old is this girl?
She looked to be under 20.
Mr. Avalon beca the honorary chairman of the dical Association at the age of 68, Professor Adelle beca a mber of the dical Association at 35 and was hailed as a miracle within the dostic dical community.
This ’miracle doctor’ is at most 18 or 19...
Sadam Vinson’s mouth curled into an intrigued arc. He had not previously suspected Lowie Wilmar of being deceived, but now he was sowhat inclined to agree with Caryn Zachmann’s view—Lowie Wilmar might have been cheated this ti!
The female swindler sure was pretty, though.
Sadam Vinson’s gaze drifted over the girl’s jeans that hugged her straight, long legs, then swept across the sharp side profile just visible under the brim of the hat, and he clicked his tongue, noting this type seed to be Amadeus’s preference!
The cream of the crop in that style, no less!
He was contemplating whether or not to sneak out his phone to take a photo and send it to the group when he heard a voice beside him, Caryn Zachmann sounding like she’d seen a ghost, her voice hollow, "Nathalie Quinlan?"
Govert Griffin had been watching the commotion and at hearing this, he turned to ask her, "Ms. Zachmann, do you know her?"
"..." A look of indescribable frustration appeared on Caryn Zachmann’s face as she pinched her fingers and looked towards the approaching girl, her voice lowered, "Yes, she’s my cousin."
She really did not want to admit she had such a cousin! She couldn’t fathom why Nathalie Quinlan had followed the Wilmar family’s butler here, adding irritably, "She does nothing all day long; she just got into a fight recently, and now sohow she’s turned up here."
Sadam Vinson looked sideways towards the girl Caryn described as ’good-for-nothing,’ and the girl’s defiant deanor truly did give off a vibe of nonconformity.
"What is she doing here..." Caryn Zachmann, stamping her foot in irritation, wasn’t willing to get involved with Nathalie Quinlan on this occasion, not wanting to stand out.
...
Everyone gradually ca back to their senses.
Whispers began to fill the courtyard.
"Is she the miracle doctor from McKinney that Mr. Wilmar spoke of? So young, has she even graduated from high school? What dical skills could she possibly have? This is a joke, right?"
"Didn’t you see Professor Adelle’s face color turn green? To insist she’s more skilled than Adelle Wafford is such an insult; Adelle, after all, is part of the international dical Association. Comparisons should be made with people of Mr. Avalon’s rank, not with... this is a bit too much."
"I bet she hasn’t even fully morized her ABCD, it’s just absurd."
