"Grandma, have you thought it through?" Enrico Tucker and the other Tuckers hadn’t heard what Nadya Tucker had said over the phone, only seeing her change her mind after receiving a call, her face alight with surprise.
Adelia Tucker was so choked she couldn’t utter a word; it was like her throat was blocked and she couldn’t catch her breath. Shaking her head, her silver-white hair seed even whiter, and the whole of her exuded the feeling of being decrepit with age. Hunched over, she shook her head: "Not going anymore."
What else was there to go for.
Ghania Quinlan had rely been accepted into Tsinghua University. Even if she had Ivy Wilmar backing her up, could she compare with Nathalie Quinlan?
According to Nadya Tucker, Ghania Quinlan was still lingering outside the Beijing Circle, unable to enter it.
Nathalie had already been playing with the top echelon of that Circle.

The next day, when Ghania Quinlan received the ssage that Adelia Tucker wouldn’t be coming, she was on the way to the airport with Ivy Wilmar to pick soone up.
Seeing the text ssage from Emilia Sullivan, she furrowed her brows and the corners of her mouth turned downwards. She didn’t voice her displeasure, but her face was clearly unsatisfied.
Ivy saw her glance at her phone and casually asked, "What’s wrong?"
Ghania quickly tucked her phone away, concealing the displeasure on her face, and managed to muster a smile: "It’s nothing. My mom sent a text asking if we’ve arrived."
"Oh, we’re almost there." Ivy wasn’t really interested in her matters. It was just a casual inquiry, and her response was equally nonchalant.
Jecksen Wilmar’s trial had been the previous day, and today the main news program broadcasted the story, creating a big stir online.
Loads of the lon Munching Crowd were discussing it online.
They couldn’t understand how Jecksen, a second-generation elite with such powerful background connections, could be caught and sentenced to three years for sothing as trivial as possession of illegal drugs.
Ivy had been worried all morning about the online Heat and Myles Sullivan had used his connections to suppress most of the voices discussing the matter.
He had also gotten major portals to pull the news stories.
Still, she knew very well that after this incident, Jecksen’s reputation was essentially ruined, and even if the Wilmar Family exerted their influence to get him back into officialdom, with this background, it was unlikely he would achieve much.
While it was Jecksen’s own doing that had led to this outco, to a greater or lesser extent it was related to Ghania Quinlan’s self-righteous actions.
So, starting from the morning, Ivy hadn’t shown her any good face colors.
Ghania was well aware of the trouble she had caused and was extrely cautious and ingratiation in her interactions with Ivy, fearing that an angry Ivy would give up on her. Therefore, even though Adelia Tucker was not coming, she did not dare complain to Ivy.
Instead, she only reigned in her bright eyes, burning with silent resentnt towards the Tucker Family for not giving face, the old hag Adelia Tucker was too ungrateful!

The car made its way to the airport, and upon arrival, Ivy got out first, looked at the ti on her wristwatch, and said to the slow-moving Ghania Quinlan, "Hurry up, Professor Gober’s plane has arrived, we need to go to the T1 Terminal exit to receive him."
"Okay."
After all, Derliand Gober was an important guest for her college celebration and her future tutor. Ghania held him in high regard, and without needing Ivy’s prompting, she quickened her steps to follow closely behind.
McKinney was not big, and its airport couldn’t compare with Beijing’s.
There were only two terminals, one for dostic arrivals and the other for international.
Derliand Gober was flying from Beijing to McKinney at T1 Terminal. Ivy, holding a bouquet, stood with Ghania outside the terminal building, waiting.
Twenty minutes later, people began to exit the terminal. Many others who had co to pick up passengers were being reunited with their loved ones.
