A man with dark skin, not very tall, with a scar on his face, sat in front of a computer, his fingers rapidly typing on the keyboard.
Wallace Radcliff was right beside him, staring intently at the computer screen.
As he watched the data update and then saw the man with the scarred face hit the Enter key, he imdiately propped his hands on the desk and asked in a low voice, "How is it?"
The man with the scarred face fixated on the computer screen. He didn’t speak at first, but as the program ran and garbled code and flickering appeared on the screen, his facial expression turned ugly, he shook his head with a serious look, "Boss, it’s still not working."
"Damn it!"
Wallace Radcliff’s fist slamd onto the desk, causing the water cup on it to bounce up, nearly falling to the floor.
"How could this be, it was working fine at the start..." he himself said, his face also darkening, unusually losing his temper.
The atmosphere in the room was bad.
No one in the group spoke.
Everyone was anxious.
If Xavier Rabenstein himself couldn’t fix the program, and they were not as skilled as he was, none dared to step forward and risk humiliation.
During this open day, the technical team’s Autonomous Driving System was a highlight, and everyone had high hopes of showcasing it overseas.
Now their hopes were dashed; not only was the showcase likely to fail, but there was also the possibility of disgrace, which would look bad for anyone.
Xavier Rabenstein tried again, but the sa problem persisted, the program would display garbled code and flicker as it ran, and sotis the screen would even turn black and crash.
The scar on his face looked frightening, and when he had a stern expression, it beca even more intimidating. It was then only he who still dared to speak to Wallace Radcliff at that ti, "Boss, it looks like it’s been infected by a virus."
"Infected by a virus? How could it be infected just like that?" Wallace Radcliff was bewildered.
In a situation where either everyone thrives or suffers together, there were still those making snide remarks.
"What virus? It’s obviously a programming bug. The program must have had flaws from the start for this to happen. The source code isn’t that easy to fix. We, group two, have been working overti for three months without a solution. A high school kid who hasn’t even grown out a full beard fixed the source code’s bugs in one day. There were issues from the beginning, and look, now there’s trouble."
The speaker was not from under Wallace Radcliff’s command but from group two, where Phoebe Hoffman was.
Even at this ti, he wasn’t thinking about solving the problem but was busy assigning bla.
Wallace Radcliff hadn’t even spoken when Xavier Rabenstein couldn’t bear it anymore and said, "I’ve already said it might be a virus. The program had no issues, we all saw it the first day the boss brought back the USB flash drive. The program from the USB flash drive that Ms. Quinlan gave us could run, which ans the programming was fine."
