Upon her arrival, the public relations manager greeted her warmly and led her towards the private boxes.
"Ms. Zachmann, Mr. Vinson and the others are in box 003."
"Hmm."
Caryn Zachmann was preoccupied and looked unwell.
The public relations manager tactfully said nothing on their way and silently led her to the box that Sadam Vinson had booked, greeted her, and made an excuse to leave.
Caryn didn’t pay him any heed, raised her hand, and pushed open the box door.

Sadam Vinson, Govert Griffin, and their group were all there.
Govert Griffin and the others were playing Pai Gow Poker while Sadam Vinson leaned back on the sofa with a phone in his hand, seemingly playing a ga.
When he saw her coming in, Sadam Vinson raised his head and spared a mont to greet her.
"Caryn. You’re here."
Caryn Zachmann, holding a handbag, walked over and glanced over to indeed see the ga interface on his phone. She pursed her lips without sitting down.
After Sadam Vinson sent a ssage to Nathalie Quinlan, he looked up to see her standing ramrod straight in front of him. He reflexively furrowed his brows, suppressing the impatience in his heart, and patted the space next to him on the sofa. "What are you standing there for, sit down."
"I have sothing to discuss with you," Caryn Zachmann said, with Lincoln Hoffman’s phone call on her mind. Her snow-white, ovally shaped face was stern, as if she had sothing important to say.
Sadam Vinson, still giving her face, quit the ga, set down his phone, and focused on her. "What is it, tell ."
"You know about Phoebe Hoffman being expelled from The Ninth Institute by Amadeus..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Sadam Vinson impatiently interrupted her, his expression clear. "Are you here to plead Phoebe Hoffman’s case?"
This direct and sowhat impolite question.
Since Caryn had always gotten along well with Sadam Vinson’s group thanks to Audrick Zachmann’s connection, and they had shown her special consideration, it was rare for them to speak to her in such a tone, and she wasn’t used to it. She clenched her handbag, recalling Lincoln Hoffman’s entrustnt, then nodded stiffly.
"What exactly did Phoebe do to warrant such severe punishnt from Amadeus? If Phoebe is driven out of The Ninth Institute, she won’t be able to gain a foothold in Beijing anymore..."
Sadam Vinson raised an eyebrow, his expression quite complex. "You don’t even know what Phoebe did wrong, yet you ca to intercede for her with ?"
Caryn found herself a bit embarrassed and felt her face burning. She swallowed her pride and said, "Lincoln Hoffman is the top hacker in the country; he knows many people and also has ties with the Red Alliance. I just think Amadeus didn’t have to go so far..."
Sadam Vinson didn’t have the patience to listen to all of this, and when he finally did, he repeated her words with a smile that wasn’t quite a smile.
"Lincoln Hoffman is the top hacker in the country? Who told you that? Did he say it himself?"
He didn’t know what situation Nathalie was in, but he had heard from Wallace Radcliff that Nathalie was mighty in IT, crushing Phoebe Hoffman in programming.
