Govert Griffin, seeing he didn’t reply, didn’t continue asking either. He picked up the teacup beside him, took a sip while looking down, then gazed out at the congested flow of cars and suddenly blurted out as if he recalled sothing, "Right, the gaokao is in the next two days. Usually, on a day without any plans, Sadam Vinson would sleep until noon since he would definitely stay up late playing gas the night before.

Caught off guard by the question, Sadam Vinson was montarily at a loss for words. How could he possibly admit that he had set an alarm to get up early just to send Nathalie Quinlan a ssage to cheer her on? After quite a long ti, he finally responded, "The plan for one’s day starts with the morning. Can’t I get up to bask in the morning sun?"
Govert Griffin, sharp as a tack and now fully awake after nearly half an hour at the Imperial Hotel, realized he had inadvertently hit the nail on the head upon hearing this. He smiled, his friendly face beaming as he said, "Oh, here I thought you were worried that Ms. Quinlan might be nervous about her gaokao, hence why you got up early to give her a call."

Audrick Zachmann had already been eagerly waiting. Seeing her descend, he breathed a sigh of relief, "Phew, you finally got up. I thought you’d sleep till eight."

Nathalie Quinlan lifted her eyelashes to give him a sluggish look, as if pondering the connection between milk and sleepiness, but she obediently picked up the mug and took a sip of milk anyway.
