The Director of Education’s wife’s expression beca animated as she glanced at Ghania Quinlan, then back to Ivy Wilmar, who appeared to know nothing. She smirked aningfully and said, "I thought my eyes were deceiving , but since the na is the sa, I didn’t make a mistake."
Her words made Ivy Wilmar’s heart skip a beat, and she started to feel uneasy. She pursed her lips, set down her coffee cup, and asked, "What do you an? What mistake?"
Having been bragging about Ghania to her friends re monts ago, the Director of Education’s wife had been impatient to the extre. Now, seeing that there was excitent to be witnessed, she generously shared, putting her phone on the table, tilting her chin up slightly, and saying, "Look for yourself, I really shouldn’t say."

The others at the table, driven by curiosity, also leaned in to look.
As they clearly saw what was on the phone, each of their expressions turned animated, and they all fell silent, retreating back to their seats.
Only Ivy Wilmar was the last to see what was on the phone. She picked up the phone, glanced at it for a mont, and shot up from her seat as if on springs, hands pressed on the table, gasping for breath. Her eyes nearly popped out of her head, and it took her a long while to snap back to reality.
The Director’s wife compounded the injury, "I was just playing with my phone and ca across a piece of news online that got pushed to . I thought I was seeing things. Since your niece is nad Ghania Quinlan and she’s Master Steven’s new student, there’s no mistake—the person they ntioned is her."
Ghania Quinlan, sitting beside Ivy Wilmar, naturally saw what was on the phone since Ivy did, which left her face turning pale in a flash. Her mind was in complete disarray, unable to process anything.

Ghania Quinlan felt chaotic inside, squeezing her hand, with all her blood rushing to her fingertips, her fingers trembling uncontrollably, trying desperately to calm herself down but failing.

Gripping her hand tightly, Ivy Wilmar took a deep breath, her eyes flashing with indignation and resentnt. Through clenched teeth, she said, "There must be so misunderstanding here."
She spoke with such certainty as if the matter was indisputable, but nobody at the table engaged her, clearly disbelieving.
When people are coming at you, you can’t just call it a misunderstanding.
Ivy Wilmar had never suffered such humiliation in Beijing, especially within her own little circle. Born into a good family and married well, she was always one of the more influential voices there. But now, her face burned with sha, utterly humiliated, and she turned her head instinctively towards Ghania Quinlan, sweeping her with a forceful gaze, "Ghania, what’s going on?"
"I..." Ghania Quinlan’s eyes darted about, too mortified to et Ivy’s stare, and stumbled to her feet, clutching her bag as if to flee, "Sorry, I have to go to the restroom..."
With those words, she didn’t give Ivy Wilmar a chance to stop her and rushed out without looking back!
