The Villain Is Destined to Die: But as the Creator, I know All Endings Chapter 268: Before You Forgot Me [7]
I have never made friends before.
Even when I was little.
It was not like I didn’t want to. It was just that no one wanted to get near .
I lived in a village called Ninabell near the west border of Liora, the one which shares borders with the Akasha Kingdom.
I don’t rember if I was born there or not, but my dad used to tell he had been there for the past twenty years. And being just a five year old brat ant I must have been born there as well.
Anyways, in Ninabell village we had our quarter settled at the southern part, kind of far from the main host.
It was the village chief who made us settle there.
The reason was mostly .
My dad told it was his own karma, but deep down I knew from the way the other kids and adults looked at that it was all on .
I was the reason for our isolation and ignorance.
I didn’t understand why though.
Maybe it was because they were all jealous because I was such a handso kid.
Hahahaha.
Or maybe it was because of the rumours about my mother.
According to what I learned from overhearing a group of old folks chatting, my mother was a bed warr.
Yeah. That is what they called her.
As a kid I didn’t know what that ant. Dad never really talked about mother. He just said that she was alive and lives sowhere far away.
So as a brat I went to him and asked.
"Dad, is my mother a bed warr?"
And... oh well.
I learned to never use that word again.
I saw a whole new face of my dad that day. He looked less angry but more... disappointed in .
I felt bad to the point I vowed to never use that term again. Not even to anyone by mistake.
But still. I wondered... is my mother really that?
I an... why isn’t she with us?
I grew up a bit. Around seven years old I guess.
I rember I learned what the term ant by hearing other kids who I played with.
Yeah. I finally made friends!
But, well. They were not really my friends. They were friends of soone nad ’Tifa’.
Tifa was actually .
I wore a hay hat and dressed as a girl to play with them.
Heh. those idiots never noticed it was .
Well they were really good toward Tifa. I cared for them. They cared for Tifa.
But....
They were never Ethan’s friends.
"Hey Tifa! Don’t go near the south."
"Huh? Why?"
"Whaaaat? Don’t you know?"
"Mhm. No."
"You are such an idiot! My mom says that is where a demon lives!"
"Eh? Demons?! No way!"
I tried to argue with them. And well... for the first ti, Tifa had a fight with them.
How dare they call a demon!
I am a normal Human who lived with his dad all alone.
The fight was good. Tifa even threw two punches in their balls!
"..."
It was also the very day when demons rampaged our village.
I saw my friends die. The villagers die. My dad.... And everyone who Tifa played with.
Few were left alive due to a miracle.
The kid which they threw at the corner was the reason why they survived.
I awakened light out of the blue. It was sooo.. Sooo much brilliant. so bright. Soooo warm.
It felt like ho to . Like I was being embraced by so lovely goddess.
I also gained an ability to see weird things floating in front of my eyes now with rules and strange quests written on it.
It helped grow.
My biggest asset, this must be my unique skill!
It was the day where I gained my powers and also the day when I lost everything.
Though, to my luck... Or might be my unluck. The king of Liora found and adopted .
He took to the palace. He studied my light, made wear good clothes, and made eat good food. I was even given a room of my own with my own maids and servants.
But...
The king felt weird. I sensed it instantly.
Though his wife was nice to . She didn’t look at the way he looked at .
And also I t the princesses. I rarely talked to them though. We trained a few tis in combat, but my mana training was done in complete seclusion away from the castle.
The king himself was present when I trained my mana and personally guided with the best of his elite and even himself on how to do it correctly.
I learned, I studied. But I never considered him my own.
His eyes... They reeked.
My light mana started to shimr violently when I went near him.
I felt scared.
But that all stopped after I endured and reached where I am now.
Eclipse Institute was one of the biggest changes and reliefs I got. I felt free and not under that dumb king’s constant torture.
I was in the best place living my best life.
And can you believe it?
I t soone similar to !
He can use light just like !
He approached on his own and sat beside . We talked and I recalled Tifa’s life. My old life.
Leon felt like he knew well. He understood well.
So I decided to protect him from the king after I found out he could use light.
Though that idiot revealed it to the world.
h.
Not like it matters now. He has both his sisters and Princess Eula’s backing.
Lucky bastard!!
He looked and acted cold, and none of his moves were ever random. He was the most cautious guy I have ever t.
Months passed, and I made even more friends here! It is good they don’t know about my light or my past.
Leon knows though.
Well that guy feels like he knows everything.
Even his girlfriend Alice— oh.
I feel like she will kill if I speak further even though she is not here.
Yeah. Let’s just stop here.
