The Villain Mom Awakens — Going Viral by Parenting on a Reality Show Chapter 455 - 457: Jeanette Kensington Is Dead
Jeanette Kensington stared at the comnts on her phone. Her comnt section had been overrun, with the bullying incidents from years ago dredged up once more.
Countless people were cheering for her downfall.
Jeanette Kensington took the elevator to her private lounge. At the peak of her fa, she had been the center of everyone’s universe. Interplay Entertainnt had even built a dedicated studio for her in the company building—a testant to her glory.
The lounge was spacious, furnished with a bed, a sofa for resting, and even a gaming console. It was on the top floor, a level Jeanette Kensington had specifically chosen because she loved being at the very top. The lounge opened onto a wide rooftop terrace. It was a pri location, offering a view of the sprawling, layered cityscape.
The cool wind blew against her, and Jeanette Kensington felt a wave of dissociation wash over her.
The scenery was the sa as ever, but the person was not. The last ti she had enjoyed this view, she had just gotten engaged to Caleb Bishop. With a successful career and her parents’ blessing, she had obtained everything she had ever craved.
That had been her happiest mont, but in the blink of an eye, that happiness had vanished, slipping through her fingers no matter how tightly she tried to hold on.
She had spent her entire life trying to prove she was better than Naomi Kenway, that Naomi was inferior to her in every way. But in the end, it was all for nothing. She had been trampled under Naomi’s feet, with no chance of ever getting back up.
A sharp rebuke ca from behind her:
"Jeanette Kensington?! What are you doing here?! Didn’t the company already terminate your contract? How did you sneak in? I don’t care how you got in, but this is Tina Leigh’s lounge now. It doesn’t belong to you anymore! Did you not return the key? Give it back to , and get out right now!"
Jeanette Kensington turned, a strange, unreadable expression—not quite a smile, not quite not—in her eyes. A tear rolled down from the corner of her eye, as if she were overco with sadness.
"I have nothing left..."
"I don’t care what you have or don’t have! Get out of here! If you ss this place up, Miss Tina Leigh is going to be furious—"
The staff mber never finished her sentence, because she saw Jeanette Kensington climb over the railing and leap.
"AHHHHHHHH!! Sobody help! Soone jumped from the building!!"
They say that before you die, your happiest mories flash before your eyes. It turned out to be true.
"Hahaha, Jeanette, you’re Daddy’s sweet little girl, my proudest daughter, the apple of my eye!"
"Happy birthday to you~ Congratulations to our precious daughter on turning another year older!"
"Don’t cry, Jeanette. You’re the best. In Mommy’s heart, no one can compare to you, and that includes Naomi Kenway!"
"I promise. Let’s be together."
"I’ve thought it over. Let’s get engaged. Will you?"
"Jeanette..."
"Jeanette..."

Jeanette Kensington was dead.
The incident beca a trending topic that very day.
[So sudden. How can soone be gone just like that?]
[She’s the only one whose death I don’t feel sorry for. She committed so many sins, and now she’s just paying for them.]
[How can it be that easy to pay it all back? She’s free of it all now that she’s dead, but the person she bullied is still in a wheelchair, lost their dream, and will be like that for the rest of their life.]
[Don’t speak ill of the dead. Everyone should just say less!]
[What goes around cos around. That family finally paid the price!]
[All I can say is she deserved it. She did so many terrible things, living so well in the first half of her life by sucking the blood of others. Now she couldn’t handle it when things just went back to how they should have been. Jeanette Kensington, I hope you’re a better person in your next life!]
...
"Nina, did you see the latest trending topics? Jeanette Kensington jumped off a building and killed herself," Sumrs said.
Naomi Kenway froze for a mont, genuinely surprised.
After a long mont, she slowly said, "She got what she deserved."
She gathered her bag, unwilling to waste any more ti on matters related to Jeanette Kensington.
Her assistant, Lee, ran in. "Here you go, Nina! The pastries you wanted. I finally got them after waiting in a super long line. That shop is incredibly popular; it was totally packed. I rushed back as fast as I could after buying them. Hopefully, they’re still warm."
Naomi Kenway smiled as she took them. "Thanks for your hard work, Lee."
"Not at all, not at all."
Sumrs asked curiously, "Nina, since when did you beco such a fan of the pastries from this place?"
Naomi Kenway smiled, gently putting the pastries away. "My mom loves them," she replied. "I’m taking them ho for her."
Sumrs let out an impressed "Wow!" "With such a filial daughter, your mom must be so happy!"

On the way ho, Naomi Kenway bought so chocolate that Ian liked.
Naomi Kenway worried Rose Kenway would get lonely, so she often had her mother co stay with her.
When she walked in, she saw Ian Shaw playing Chinese chess with Rose Kenway, while Ethan Shaw sat beside Ian, giving him strategic advice.
A mont later, Ian’s head drooped. "Ian lost. A bet is a bet!"
Rose Kenway smiled faintly, took out a red marker, and gently dabbed Ian’s nose. "Even cuter now."
"Really?"
The scene was so heartwarming. Naomi Kenway walked over quietly. "Looks like Ian is turning into a little kitten. You must have been playing with Grandma for a long ti."
When Ian saw Naomi Kenway, he imdiately threw himself into her arms. He looked up and said, "Of course! Ian loves playing with Grandma. Grandma is so good! Daddy and I together still couldn’t beat her!"
"Then Ian will have to ask Grandma for so pointers."
Ian’s eyes landed on the box in Naomi Kenway’s hand, and they lit up. "Mommy, what’s that?"
"Of course, it’s a present for our little glutton. It’s your favorite chocolate."
Ian cheered as he took the box. After opening it, he offered the first piece to Naomi Kenway, then gave so to Ethan Shaw and Rose Kenway. There was even a piece for Nanny Warren.
Nanny Warren bead, unable to close her mouth from smiling so widely. "Ian is such a sweet and caring boy!"
Naomi Kenway placed the pastries on the table. "Mom, these are from your favorite shop."
Rose Kenway looked over with a smile, a hint of concern in her voice. "I rember the line for that shop is always so long. You don’t have to buy them next ti. The ones made at ho are just as good."
"It’s just pastries. If you like them, I’ll buy them for you. Just like how you used to bring them ho for when I was little."
Rose Kenway’s eyes grew a little moist, her thoughts drifting to sothing unknown. "Okay."
Ethan Shaw had been waiting for ages, but he was the only one without a gift. He didn’t say anything in the living room, but as soon as they got back to the bedroom, he started to sulk.
Naomi Kenway returned to the bedroom only after a long, quiet chat with Rose Kenway. The mont she entered, she found Ethan Shaw with his eyes closed, pretending to rest, not saying a word.
Naomi Kenway walked over and asked playfully, "Ethan Shaw, are you asleep? Why haven’t you changed into your pajamas? Are you comfortable sleeping in a dress shirt?"
Ethan Shaw opened his eyes and grabbed her hand, saying plaintively, "I’m angry. Can’t you tell?"
