I didn’t have much impression of the girl before .
My mories of her were still blurry, and not much was known about her relationship with Kael, besides the fact that it certainly wasn’t on good terms.
Victoria was one of the best talents that the Frosts had ever produced. It was only due to the fact that she was a girl that she was not given the position of the Heir to House Frost.
As for the character nad Victoria, she had a major presence in the ga.
Combined with her talent and beauty, it made her one of the most liked mbers of Noah’s harem.
Though their romance took years to actually succeed, as Victoria had never been an easy girl.
For soone like her to choose a man ant that the given individual had to have the kind of power that could make her submit to him.
And Noah, for being the protagonist, had all the cheats available to him.
As for Victoria’s position in the academy...
Right now she was the Vice President, sothing that was a remarkable feat for her age.
Being in such a position while being a third year was a feat worthy of comndation. The current student council president surely had an eye for talent, as despite the opposition, he had chosen Victoria to lead the council along with him.
Though I knew there was more than one reason for him selecting her.
The silence continued for a while, with none of us initiating any form of conversation.
On my part, I saw no need to converse with her, and for Victoria, Kael had always been an eyesore, or at least that was what had been described in the ga.
"Umm... Student Kael, are you enrolling for the council by any chance?"
Another girl stepped in from behind Victoria, to fill the silence that had ensued between us.
"No. Just helping a friend."
I spoke in a low voice, briefly glancing in John’s direction.
John, to his credit, had his eyes widened in surprise, not expecting to call him a friend.
"Ah, okay! So you aren’t registering? I don’t want to sound rude, but may I know the reason?"
I looked into the eyes of the girl.
"Miss..."
"Ella... Ella White."
The girl nad Ella introduced herself.
"Miss White, I think you should be focusing more on those who have already enrolled their nas instead of asking ."
I paused to let the words sink in.
Ella had a frown across her face on hearing my answer.
"But--"
"Not interested."
I cut her off before exiting the hall through the narrow space beside the two girls standing before us.
Seeing my polite rejection, Ella didn’t call out any further, and I could sense both of them entering the council room.
I had thought Victoria would glance at my back before entering, but she did nothing of the sort.
At least that confird the information from the ga, to so extent.
And reduced any reason for to hold back against her, should she try to stand against in any way in the future.
Not that I would have done anything of that sort, even if Victoria had been close to Kael.
I an—why should I?
Victoria and the Frosts were Kael’s family, not mine.
There was no need for to dwell over past baggage.
"That was your sister, right?"
John spoke from behind .
I turned to look at him for a mont before resuming my walk to the class.
Taking my silence as confirmation, John went quiet for so ti.
"So the rumours had been true."
After a long pause, John cleared his throat while speaking.
"I had heard that you weren’t on good terms with your family, but seeing today, I guess the rumours were understated. You could be said to be on the worst terms, huh."
John was speaking more to himself than to .
I didn’t interrupt his monologue.
"I an I kind of had an inkling when you never initiated any conversation with your siblings despite being in the sa class, but this... this distaste was on a more grand scale. Hey, do—"
"John."
"Y-Yes?"
I stopped for a mont before fixing my entire focus on him.
"I have no interest in discussing anything pertaining to that family. So..."
I didn’t conclude my statent, but John seed to have received the ssage.
Normally, I wouldn’t say such things openly, but this guy was bound to be with for a long ti.
Couldn’t have him questioning every now and then.
The rest of the walk continued in silence, as neither I nor John had anything to discuss.
Well... it was mainly John who was always the first to start any conversation between us.
As we approached closer to the classes, I could see a huge crowd just before the entrance to the class.
The nearby students, noticing my arrival, went silent as I moved to the centre of the crowd.
"Huh! You think being in A Class makes you so big shot."
"Nah! I am a big shot. No doubt about that."
Slap!
The student on the right slapped the other one on his face.
"How does it feel, BIG SHOT! Here, take my shots—"
Bam!
Crack!
"Damn, soone stop these lunatics."
"Not from my class."
"Mine neither."
I just watched the brawl before in silence.
No matter what the issue had been, these students were foolish not to think about the consequences of their actions.
One thing that Namda didn’t tolerate was indiscipline among the students.
No matter what social status they had, such behaviour wouldn’t go unpunished.
And I was proven right, as a team of seniors, probably from the student council, had entered the scene.
All of them were at the peak of Silver rank.
The arrival of the Disciplinary Committee had silenced the place in seconds.
Swoosh!
The students fighting were imdiately detained by the council, their bodies pressed against the hard floor.
