I washed my face with cold water.
The smoke from the blast had filled my eyes. They were a little watery.
As I lifted my head, I could see a pair of ocean-blue eyes staring at . They looked calm. I felt my mind relieved after seeing such calm in this chaotic world.
I just had dinner. It was one of the best I had ever eaten.
I say the sa thing every ti I eat.
Food had been a luxury to in my childhood. Now, every ti I eat, I try to enjoy this luxury to its limits.
After the day’s work, I felt sleepy, so I decided to play so gas before going to sleep.
There is this fantasy world ga that I like a bit. It has so long-worded title.
I had begun to play it around two months ago, and every ti, I enjoyed imrsing myself in that world.
A world where the strong ruled. Of course, there were villains and heroes. But still, it was a unique experience for every ti I played the ga.
One of the specialties of this ga was that it had many villains. All the villains were strong but were killed by the protagonist of the ga one after the other.
Although they were strong, they weren’t united. I found it quite stupid.
Along with humans, there were also elves, dwarves, and vampires.
After many wars, all the races had learned to live together in peace.
To complete the ga, one had to help the protagonist beco stronger, gather powerful allies, and then defeat the villains one by one according to their arcs.
But this ga had no end.
Even after defeating many villains, the ga continued with interplanetary wars with other species.
A powerful species called Predators had launched a war to conquer Jutan, the planet where the ga takes place.
One after the other, the wars and fights just go on in the ga.
So I don’t feel it has a real ending. This is my personal opinion.
The developers do say that there is an ending, but still, no one has reached it.
I played for around two hours, and now it was around 11 p.m.
I needed to get so sleep.
Thinking about tomorrow’s plans, I lay face down on the bed on my belly and made myself comfortable.
But instead of going to sleep, I felt a bright light in my sleep. My eyes were closed; still, I felt it blinding my sight.
And the next thing I knew—I was staring at the stars in the black sky above .
I couldn’t control my body. As I tried to sit up, pain shot through my muscles.
The pain was unlike anything I had ever felt. Each muscle fiber felt like it was torn apart.
I inspected my body, and the situation wasn’t pleasing. The entire skin on my body felt like it was just attached together. There were still cuts and marks everywhere.
But the surprising part was that I could feel my body healing with every second that passed.
It almost felt—magical.
I looked around to see my surroundings, but the only thing I could see were huge trees surrounding from all sides.
I was likely in so forest. The ground beneath was marked by so strange pattern.
Circles overlapped each other, and so sort of design was made.
It felt more like a ritual from ancient tis.
The kind that they show in movies depicting ancient or fantasy worlds.
Wait!
Fantasy world... Only one thought ran in my head.
Transmigration.
The thing that they ntioned in modern novels about transferring to another world. Specifically, a world filled with magic powers.
Had the sa thing happened to ? If so, where am I currently?
Before I could search for more answers, sothing flashed in my mind.
It felt foreign yet familiar. It felt like sothing was being forcefully recorded in my brain.
Sharp pain shot through my head, making numb for a second. Before I could get used to the pain, more flashes of what felt like mories passed through my mind.
Instead of panicking, I let the process happen. I tried to lower the resistance of my mind to those strange mories.
Resisting them only led to more pain.
After what felt like an eternity, the pain stopped. I could then process what had happened.
Those mories were familiar. Like I had seen them sowhere before. I scanned the area around , and then it occurred to that I had seen all these things before in the ga that I played.
These strange markings were the ritual that one of the villains in the ga had perford.
And it wasn’t any minor villain.
The mories that were forcefully imprinted in my mind were of none other than Kael Frost, the final villain of the ga.
Also called the ga’s final boss.
I have transmigrated into the body of Kael Frost.
The realization struck .
But instead of being depressed, I tried to understand the situation. It’s true that I have long left my original world, and the chances of returning are unknown.
Crying about what had happened won’t achieve a thing.
My goal had never changed; it had just been transferred to a new body.
All that I care for in the world is to survive.
It doesn’t matter which body I inhabit. Whether I am X or Kael Frost, the only thing that I value is to live.
Now that the primary part is over, the next question that confuses is—why am I the one who got transmigrated?
Did I et so hidden conditions that resulted in such a situation?
What if so grand almighty entity had purposefully transmigrated into this world?
If then, what is the end goal?
Should I try to change the plot of the novel from the original, or help the protagonist in his path to beco stronger?
Or—
Fuck everything.
I will do what I do best!
I will do the sa thing that I did in my previous world—that is, to rule.
