'Deal with like you want to, huh...'
I pondered over those words for a while, and finally decided on what to do. I didn't wait for a long ti before springing into action.
I took it the very next day, Maxwell did say I can deal with it...in any way I like.
'Within limits, of course.'
I spent the first half of the next day attending my classes as usual. One of the two people I needed to talk too was sitting right beside , That was Elaine, but considering the relationship between us, I opted to do it later.
Henry is less difficult to talk too, and I would appreciate it if I didn't fail on the first try. I silently waited till break and ignored Sabrina and the rest. When it was finally ti, I stood up and said.
"Go to the cafeteria by yourself, I need to take care of sothing."
"Alright."
Thankfully, Sabrina didn't bother much with it. I walked outside the classroom and smirked to myself.
"So it's going to be her that's going to be difficult..."
Just before I left, Elaine looked at for a mont. Of course, this gesture had a high chance of aning nothing... But I had a feeling.
The instincts of a dragon, 'A gut feeling'.
'How accurate are our instincts, by the way?'
[Supre Dragon of Frost, Lanesha sighs.]
"Alright, great then."
Her sigh could only an one thing, and that was disappointnt. Lanesha was disappointed that I even bothered to ask her about this, as if it were useless. That was enough for to discern that our instincts are almost never wrong.
Chuckling to myself, I made my towards Elijah and Henry's classroom. If they went to the cafeteria, I would still encounter them first. Our classes were simply arranged that way...
If they took the long and tedious way, for whatever reason, then I may not encounter them at all, however... But looking at the commotion in his class, I assu they are still there.
It was the sa as ours...except there was a peculiar group of people inside. First years, second years...and even third years.
All girls, as well. About seven of them, all huddled over to Elijah's table.
'Wow.'
I feel bad for Serena, I really do. But I do wonder...is there really that much of a difference between my face and Elijah's? A difference of one rank shouldn't be much, right?
[Supre Dragon of Frost, Lanesha says that the appearance of an individual is not the deciding factor for attraction.]
'Oh really? Are you saying I lack his charisma and personality?'
[Supre dragon of Frost, Lanesha says yes.]
'... Heartless.'
It left a bitter taste in my mouth. I rembered that Elijah's dragon form was beautiful as well. Mine was great, but the scales I possessed, and the other features couldn't compare to his... His scales were perfect, his eyes and snout as well.
[Supre Dragon of Frost, Lanesha say's it is not right to be jealous of what others have.]
'Jealous? Who said I am jealous?'
I walked over to him, I could see Elijah struggling to keep up with the multitude of girls trying to strike a conversation, Henry enjoying it from the back and Serena...
'Gulp.'
I gulped nervously, Serena was simply sitting there, looking at everyone. That woman is morizing each face so she can give them a...surprise. I don't have any intention of finding out what that surprise is.
The others looked at , My towering fra already attracted a lot of attention. I ignored Elijah's curious look, the hateful look of the others, and also Serena's blank look. Which scared the most.
I wonder if I have beco sympathetic to the girl... Even I was shaken by Elijah's mories that the tower showed . "Henry, can I talk with you for a mont?"
The gazes of the others relaxed, and I thought to myself.
'Geez, I won't take him from you, I don't swing that way.'
They were all focused on Elijah, and Henry looked at with a confused gaze.
"It's important, It won't take long, though."
He shrugged and got up, sowhat taken aback, but he still complied with what I said. We both were going to leave when...
"I'll co too, I needed so fresh hair."
"No, it's okay."
I shut down Elijah's escape attempt. If he cos with us, these girls wouldn't leave us alone. He looked at with the eyes of a sad puppy, who had been betrayed, but unfortunately for him, I have built an impressive resistance to such things. Besides, the sll of makeup in this room is atrocious... Sotis, having a nose this great can be bad...very bad.
We quickly got out of the room, and I cast a small mana barrier around us in the empty corridor. Henry raised his eyes.
"Don't worry, it just cancels noise."
I didn't want anyone hearing this, so I had to do it.
"Alright…what was it that you wanted to talk about?"
He asked . The curiosity in his eyes was genuine, leading to believe that perhaps...he truly was unaware of what was going on. Perhaps...
However, to be sure... I still asked.
"Do you not know of what is happening? The one related to my guild and the others."
"...?"
Wow, he really doesn't know... They managed to keep it hidden from him. Well, considering his character, he wouldn't have bothered to investigate the weird actions of his guild mates. This still doesn't ruin what I had in mind, even though he doesn't know about it. He still has the influence and power to do sothing about it.
I explained to him the situation, and 'kindly' asked him to do sothing about it. He looked at for a mont or two, and placed his hands on his chin for a while.
He finally responded, after a long mont of silence.
"Alright, I'm sorry you had to go through with this. I'll stop the mbers of my guild... I don't know about the others, though."
I smiled, thinking that this was all worth it, and said.
"Thanks, I'll deal with the other guilds."
Henry felt a chill run up his spine, but concealed it. He didn't want to know how Alan would deal with the others. He was just glad he saved his own guild mbers.
'I should go et up with Elaine now...'
I hoped it would go as well as it did with Henry... But I can only hope.
