He opened his status, welcoming the sight of his stats in front of his eyes once again.
===Status===
Na: Alan Peccator(17)
Race: Dragon.
Titles: Grand Child Of Ariel, Primordial of Death. Forgotten Lineage of Death. mber of House Shivalkulan. Heir to the throne of death.....
His new titles shone like gold in the status screen, showcasing how valuable they were, he accessed the descriptions one by one.
[Title: Grand Child of Ariel, The Primordial of Death.]
[Description: You are a grandchild of one of the seven primordial beings in the world, Ariel, queen of Death.]
'Well, that was pretty self-explanatory.'
Alan thought, amused. He had expected that much, but was a little disappointed to see his expectations correct, he wanted to be proven wrong this ti, but Alas, it was not as so. The first title was pretty simple.
[Title: Forgotten Lineage of death.]
[Description: A mystical, forgotten, and forbidden lineage of the being of who created the concept of Death herself, Ariel, flows in your veins. Her unholy, and divine blood, empowers you with powers the living are not ready to wield. Death is your ally, and your enemy.]
"... Well, that was too drastic of a change."
Unlike the first one, this one was pretty..plicated, to say the least. There were many things that he couldn't understand. He got the 'mystical' part. But why was the Lineage of one of the pillars of the Dragon Empire, forbidden...and most importantly, forgotten?
Forbidden, he could get. Death was sothing frowned upon by most living beings, sothing they did not like to see. But eventually, it would still co to them, reap their lives. All they could do was accept it. It was understandable that any arts related to this would be considered forbidden... But why forgotten?
Ariel, to his knowledge, was still renowned. She was, although not active at all... Whatever she did in the past was so great that all the supre rembered her, and even beings far below them heard legends and stories about her. Forgotten? Hell no. She could be considered a holy figure in the dragon empire!
One that many worshiped like a god.
He couldn't quite get it. So he left that alone... But the next part was even more confusing. What did it an by Ariel having created death? Was she not the embodint of it...but the creator? How could that make sense.
Just how does one, go around and make the 'concept' of death, or 'death' itself? Doesn't everything eventually die? That was quite hard to grasp. Was there so fancy wordplay at work here that he didn't understand? Furthermore, how could Unholy, and divine be in the sa sentence, linked to another. Not in the opposites of each other, but together?
How could her blood, be both Unholy, and Divine? Aren't they the two extres?
But then again, What even was Unholy and Divine blood? Alan couldn't just regard them as the blood of the demons and celestials respectively, Dragon's ca before the demons and celestials... Ariel wasn't the ancestor of those races, so it couldn't be that.
When thought of it from that perspective...what was Unholy, or Divine blood anyway? Alan shook his head, and let the thoughts run from his mind, focusing on the other things.
'Death is your ally, and your enemy.'
The last part of the description was...ominous. To say the least. Did it an, that even though he was now of her blood, was an heir to her position, he could utilize the powers of the elent of Death, that could be what it ant by it being his ally, and at the sa ti, it was his enemy because death...would still co for him.
After all, Nothing was safe from it. All things, living or not, would eventually et their end, their 'death'.
"Ha..."
He sighed, this description was a complete contrast to the previous one. He didn't understand shit.
"... Next one it is."
[Title: mber of House Shivalkulan.]
[Description: You belong to one of the five great dragon houses, each led by a primordial being. Your status within and outside the Empire of Dragons can be matched only by a select few. Your standing within the house is high.]
Thankfully, this one was not so high-level mumbo jumbo. It was pretty simple. He was simply a mber of one of the strongest forces of the Universe. A great Dragon house, led by Ariel, The Primordial Dragon, or created by it. Which also had three supre managing it. Perhaps even more supre beings.
Humming a happy tune, he quickly opened the description of the last, and final one that consuming Ariel's drop of Ichor brought him. He also had Lanesha's to check as well.
[Title: Birthright to Death's throne.]
[Description: You have a right to inherit, Ariel's throne, as the primordial of Death herself. This title is currently possessed by five beings.]
1: Supre Dragon of Darkness, Valus.
2: Supre Dragon of Shadows, Kulak.
3: Supre Dragon of Frost, Lanesha.
4: Son of Lanesha, Supre of Frost, Alan Peccator.
5: Son of Shi, Supre of Death, Kazikato Shimoshino.
The last one...was simply a will, he thought. It just detailed that he had a right to inherit Ariel's throne, not that he was interested in it, or could even do it.
The title seed to rank the beings most capable of the throne in order. First was Valus, The supre of Darkness, Lanesha's oldest brother, and the last was Kazikato. Alan ca to that conclusion because he was above Kazikato.
Kazikato should have received it much earlier than Alan, but he was still above him. That could only an that he was more suitable for it than the lazy bum. That was obvious.
Nevertheless, he had no interest in competing against the Shadow Supre, and the Darkness Supre over that. He knew he had no chance of defeating them, not yet, at least. Lanesha would probably give it to him, though. But she wasn't the top on this list, that spot belongs to Valus.
'...Valus...'
His body shivered when he thought about the na of that dragon, Alan's hand subconsciously moved up and grabbed his neck, as if to shield it.
"Alright... Now let's see the other stuff."
That was only what he got from Ariel's drop of Ichor.
