Alan arose, free from the restraints that bound him to the cold stone. He took a deep breath, and it was as if everything froze.
His breath was so cold it could freeze a human being in an instant if he wanted too. Furthermore, he felt energetic, powerful, and most importantly, cold.
But the cold was comfortable, it was soothing instead of a biting chill that threatened to take his life. It was...srizing.
He stood up, and examined his body closely, or rather, his chest and hair and face. The roots of his hair were now cyan, and if he wasn’t seeing things, he could see so ice there as well.
His face had beco more defined, and underneath his eyes was the sa cyan color, the definition and depth of the diamonds in his eyes also increased, becoming more profound.
But perhaps the biggest change was in the chest, right where his dragon heart was, we’re crystals of ice so strange and pure he knew they couldn’t be normal ice. They surrounded his heart, the Winter Heart that now resided in his chest.
Each beat of the heart filled him with a chilling energy, with ice mana so pure he was sure it was second only to river of frost. Perhaps, it may even be just like it. It was amazing.
He felt stronger, but he knew these were simply the surface changes, he checked his status, eager to find the Winter Heart and it’s true effects.

Each and every skill was amazing, to say the least. Alan couldn’t wait to test them all out. The winter heart was amazing.
"It’s great, isn’t it?"
Lanesha’s smug voice rang out from the side, Alan couldn’t hide his amazent.
"Yeah..."
"Of course it is, that one is above every winter heart ever made. I added a few special effects as well considering your domain and how often you make suicidal moves."

He didn’t have an answer to that, he really depended on his regeneration far too much these days and got into very, very awful situations. He didn’t have an excuse.
"Most of them are never around the dragon heart, but to the sides of it. Your one, however covers your heart completely. I had to do it that way so your usage of aura would go uninterrupted."
Certainly, when he had to use his aura he had to call almost all the mana in his body back towards his heart, and then proceed. Having the winter heart, sothing made entirely of Lanesha’s mana and also a container of it would prove utilizing aura much more difficult.
Aura was still unbeatable when it ca to physical enhancent and aiding his bloodline. He wouldn’t want to lose it at all, especially when he considered what he went through to get it.

Lanesha simply smirked, and went in for a hug, and ruffled his hair.
"Oh co on! You passed the trials, this was the least I could do! Now, Nocumbra may prove to be difficult, but it surely wouldn’t be as difficult as the fragnt!"
... Alan never felt short until he t the other dragons, that was for sure.
