Burning with the might of a thousand suns, a single being of light stood out within the darkness of the void. A fire so mighty, so bright, full of life and tenacity.

Ever-changing, full of life, maybe even the source of all life. The fire was bright, and consisted of every color in the universe. A rainbow of incandescent fla.

It took the form of a bird, two large wings which held fiery claws at the very end, capable of burning a world in seconds if it chose too. A beak that no defense in the world would be safe against, and a fire capable of burning all.

But chose not to. The brightest light, Liorathen, The Primordial God beast of Life. She was all alone in this strange expanse, endlessly descending with the speed of light, leisurely.

As she descended, her eyes noticed soone watching, and a faint smile arose before disappearing. She didn’t mind a visitor, no matter how odd his appearance was. Besides, the child was no threat at all.

She simply did her job, her atonent, as she descended the void, an endless journey to the deepest point in search of the three. A way to bring peace among the three.

Many had challenged the brightest light in the dark void, but none had managed to overco her might. But even then, the Brightest light was faint in this place.

The only source of light in the banished realm, and even she could not illuminate it all, only a small part of it. Corruption was powerful.

The journey was long, incredibly so, and close to impossible, but to end the cycle she had to do sothing... even if she would never reach the three. The chance was low, extrely low. But never zero.

How long had it been since she had embarked... leaving everything behind. She couldn’t recall, the bloodshed was the only thing on her mind, and a resolve to end it all, no matter what.

Slowly, her light would vanquish in this place, endless battles, and even when the brightest light vanished in the darkest void, she would erge again. Whether it was another cycle or not, or the sa period of bloodshed.

She would erge again from golden fire, and descend into eternal darkness. Again, and again, until she reached her destination. Until she finally found them. The three in the deepest point.

Doubt had not co even once, she could not allow it to co. Her mission was absolute, her resolve was unbreaking.

Until she heard his voice.

"Damn, you really went deep, like really deep!"

Who?

She continued, the new visitor was unknown to her, soone who took a more active approach than the confused child that was watching. Sothing, entirely different.

Hollow, slippery, slithery, and not one you would like to et as a foe. Mysterious, but sothing drew her to this... visitor.

"Greetings, Oh Brightest Light, the sole being carrying the burden of the pri species on your shoulders... or wings?"

A pair of jade stones erged from beneath, eyes unlike any other, as the hollow thing continued.

"Would you be interested in making a deal with ?"

The endless descent stopped, as a snake of crystal white appeared from even below, stopping her in her tracks.

Back on the bloody world, in a space deep, deep underground similar to the one Sabrina found herself in, lay two coffins made of black tals, facing each other under a candle of purple light.

The room was in perfect condition, unlike the one Sabrina and Alan were in. There were no roots here, no cracks, it was pristine as well, not a speck of dust on the multiple decorations fit for kings.

The light of the candle flickered like that of a faulty bulb, and soon, it vanished without a trace, as the energy keeping everything in check, the fuel was exhausted... No, it disappeared suddenly, and with it, the two coffins opened up as well.

The covering rely disappeared into particles of dark light, and the figures within arose, grasping the edge with their pale hands.

One was a woman, and one was a man, both impeccably beautiful and without a flaw in their appearance, ebony hair, and blood-red eyes the most prominent features in their already flawless appearance.

They looked to be in the pri of their years, but who could really say how old they were.

"The barrier... is gone."

The woman spoke, her cherry like lips released a soothing, almost angelic voice. The man did not speak, only nodding in affirmation.

"We must hurry, before he reaches the heir first."

The man nodded once more, and just like that, both of their bodies, along with the coffins turned into... darkness, and slipped through the cracks of the room.

After they left, the candle lit up once more, a bright purple fla, however, it continued to flicker.

On and off.

*********

The church was empty, and rely a shadow of its forr self. The inside was ruined beyond repair, broken stone, fallen statues, and the stained-glass, once beautiful was now broken, faces with no bodies, and bodies with gaping holes in them.

But maybe it suited this church, one that was built not as a place of worship but sothing else entirely. In the middle of it all, was a large cross with a man nailed on it, Hair as black as ebony, and a powerful, robust physique, imprisoned.

An endless amount of blood kept flowing from the man’s corpse. Liters and liters of blood that couldn’t possibly co from sothing as small as the man.

The man opened his eyes, and as blood continued to spill from his wounds... all of a sudden it went back.

The ocean of blood underneath went back into his body. The man took a deep breath as his strength returned, and he ripped himself off from the cross he was nailed too.

Dropping to the ground, he fell to his knees, weak. He hadn’t felt free in a long ti, the oppressive aura was finally gone.

He was free to take his rightful place.
