"Now, for the Creator’s goals. First, is his obsession with what he perceives to be a perfect existence, one capable of utilizing manager, aether, and aura at the sa ti.
In other words, creating soone like you. He is obsessed with rging Dragon, God Beast, and Void spawn specialties.
Unfortunately for that sucker, I did it first. Hah!
I don’t know why he is obsessed with such a thing like this, but well, who cares? I did it first, and he can go cry about it!"
He laughed, as he conjured another projection of himself... Which hung a dal on his neck. Jas raised his chin high and patted his chest, seemingly proud of himself.
This disappeared the next second, and he was back with another scenario. The lighting around the projection darkened, and a chair manifested. Jas sat on it with a ’serious’ expression as he frantically rubbed his hands together, as if he displaying is anxiety and ’fear’.
"Second, the true goal of The Creator is to beco one with the Weave, or rule it. He was ’born’ the sa way as the other universal conscients, although sothing went wrong, of course.
He betrayed the natural instincts of a universal consciousness, and opted to create Vorden, Ilvath, and Avalik, his soldiers to conquer other universes.
Reality was in a young state back then, but honestly, nobody can guess why he turned out different. Anyways, as he ’eats’ more universal consciousness, a change happens in him. He is able to actively influence the Weave, and believes that if he has consud every other universe, he would beco the Weave, or an existence above it."
He took a deep breath, as he clutched his chest, as if in pain. Alan could see parts of his ’soul’
drip down his mask, leaking from his eyes like blood. At the sa ti, from his ears as well.
"Ha... Sounds like bullshit, am I right? Well... Honestly, it might work. The Weave is connected to each universe in a special way... Think of it this way.
The Weave is a seperate construct, but it branches off to form the universes. Strictly speaking, they are parts of it. One ’small’ part cannot control it, but a big enough one can. That is this universe.
The Weave still exists as a seperate construct, but it can be influenced. It’s all a big mystery as to what the Weave is and all... But you get the gist of it.
The Creators wishes to beco the new weave, or achieve total control of the existing weave. What does he plan to do with it? Probably so fetish honestly, where he turns everyone into his marionettes and plays with them."
Alan looked at him weirdly, still as silent as ever.
"Hey, what? Just because he’s a consciousness of a universe doesn’t an he doesn’t have his own tastes. He is already different from all his kind, this can’t be too outlandish!
Everybody has their kinks! Don’t judge!? Hah!"
He chuckled, as he coughed out more of his soul. Alan was unsure if this was an act to portray weakness or if he was actually dying. He chose to believe in the forr.
His Dragon eyes were still active, The strain had reduced since the seal was removed. Although Alan was far from unlocking his abilities, a problem due to his age, he wouldn’t suffer any adverse effects from Dragon Eyes.
As long as he didn’t take it ’too’ far of course.
"Those are the Creators goals, if Vorden hadn’t sealed him, he would have completed them long ago. With the three progenitors incapacitated, it would spell really big trouble if he broke out from his chains.
But you want to know sothing? The Weave is aware of The Creator’s plot and worked against it.
Care to take a guess what it was? Heh."
Alan didn’t answer, nor did he think about it too much. He was still occupied with finding Jas with his dragon eyes and striking him down.
"Aranus was the way to deal with the Creator. He was supposed to be the next ’Absolute’ being, along with our little protagonist Elijah. Want to know a funnier thing?"
A shocked expression appeared on Alan’s face. Jas relished it, as he continued.
Both of them were taken control of, and it was all a setup! Aranus t the Abyss because The Weave wanted it to happen! It wanted a destructor that would destroy the universe, thus ending the plot of the universal consciousness. However, ’Lapsus’ was an oddity even the Weave didn’t know of. Things spiralled out of control.
Elijah... On the other hand, is a Trojan horse. The Creator believes he is pulling the strings with our Hero, but it’s actually The Weave.
Hell, it might even be doing things with you, who knows what fate it’ll assign you... Maybe that of a hero, or a villain. The weave is the most terrifying, but at the sa ti, it is fair.
It’s a natural order of things, the Weave isn’t malicious like the Abyss or the Creator, it’s a machine that has its own protocol to follow."
"But then again, that doesn’t sit right with . If I let it do the sa thing to you as it did to Aranus, would it not be an insult to ? I made you because the Creator was so insistently trying to prove he was above , so naturally, I couldn’t let the Weave do as it pleased with my creation."
"But then again, it’s the Weave we are talking about... Nothing can compare to it, my pride didn’t allow to accept it at first. So... I chose to do sothing.
Directly confronting the Weave is suicide, but I had dominatus on my side... I figured I could do sothing.
Either make the Weave feign ignorance about you, or force it into cooperation.
The first part has been done... To a certain degree. But I don’t know if the second can ever be done, Dominatus is powerful, but it isn’t all powerful. The Weave isn’t to be underestimated. Not at all...
Dominatus is still young, if a conflict truly does happen once you reach the Mythical realm... Well, let’s just hope for the best. I..."
He paused for a mont, struggling to open his mouth and speak. After a certain amount of ti passed, he sighed, and said with a frown.
"I can’t be compared to The Weave, it, and you, are the only two things I can be fine being inferior to."
Alan raised his brows, surprised. He hadn’t thought this would ever happen.
"Surprised? Well, I would be a terrible creator if my creation never surpassed ."
Alan let out a sigh, but still, he did not speak. Jas clicked his tongue, and remained silent. He stretched his collar to the limit, as if he was exaggerating the heat, or the awkwardness of the mont. Alan paid it no mind, focused on the task at hand.
After a while, Jas opened his mouth.
"Your using dragon eyes to constantly find my location, at the sa ti, your also tweaking the spell you were trying to create before, waiting for the right ti to strike. You’ve also wrapped your shadow around your self and the spell, in the hopes that if I have a counter to it, Dominatus would be triggered and deal with .
You’ve placed your bet on your unique skill, you know that whatever spell your creating doesn’t have a chance to completely get rid of , which is your hoping dominatus will do the job.
You learned through your experience with the Black Sea."
He let out a large sigh, and educated Alan.
"Dominatus won’t be triggered by this, the Black Sea has special properties, it’s unique in it’s own way, which is why Dominatus was triggered.
Just wrapping the little guy around everything for every minor inconvenience won’t trigger Dominatus, you fool. Still, good try, wrong choice of target."
The projections decreased one by one, until only one remained, the one hovering above the air a few feet in front of Alan. Alan looked at it, piercing through it with Dragon eyes.
Jas chuckled.
"Damn, you’ve been using that skill for a long ti... Guess I should teach you sothing!"
Just as he said, all of Alan’s instincts scread. He hurriedly deactivated Dragon Eyes, and was cautious, waiting for anything to happen.
Jas clapped his hands, applauding Alan’s quick thinking. However...
"Touche, Touche."
He said, as the projection disappeared, only to appear right behind Alan, beside his soul core. Alan turned around in an instant, swinging his hand as if he intended to chop Jas in half.
But the hand simply passed through the projection. Jas opened his palms, and Alan saw a slight golden color appear.
He focused on it, unaware of the danger, playing right into Jas tricks. His caution had backfired.
A smile crept up on Jas face as he said.
"Bon appetit, mi amor."
