His hand reached out to the drop of Ichor, and this ti, the distance between the door and Alan decreased. Guided by an unseen force, Alan’s hands reached out to grab the drop of Ichor.

The Blood of Tiamat, the Queen of Chaos, and the Mother of Suleras, A Primordial being arguably stronger than Ariel, one that the entire Abyss was created to seal. The Oldest Daughter Of Vorden, and the Dragon of Calamity.

She wasn’t in Alan’s mories, and all he knew about her was what Valus had inford him. The language the Abyss created to drive the Chaos Dragons insane was directed at her, but it ultimately failed to do anything ’significant’ to the Primordial. Although it is unknown why the Primordial hasn’t made any attempts to revive the Chaos Dragons, sothing to note is...

The Abyss didn’t dare pick a fight with Tiamat when he had control of Aranus. Even Lapsus and Aranus weren’t enough to convince the Abyssal Conscience to actually go and confront the Primordial Queen. While the Abyss stayed clear of all the Primordials, he avoided Tiamat the most, in his ho-ground as well.

Alan was drawn to the drop of Ichor, belonging to the Primordial Queen, and he laughed inwardly.

’So it’s an inevitability.’

What the dream was showing him was simple: his ascension to the Epic Realm would never go as planned. Ti wasn’t on his side; he was not allowed to reach the adult stage of a Dragon and beco Epic normally.

In the end, he would have to force it, or face death, and after death, his resurrection would inevitably force him to force it.

’Ha.’

The drop of Ichor was the key to both his advancent and his ruin. In the far future, he would be forced to consu it to advance into the Epic Realm, either by himself or the Panoply of Death. He had tried to stay as far away from the Drop of Ichor, but in the end, it was his only choice.

Had the Weave orchestrated it since the beginning? Yes, that must be it. Even this dream is simply the Weave doing its job.

As he laughed at himself, his hand grabbed the Drop of Ichor, and the Dreamscape began to collapse. The color on the other side invaded the calm and tranquil blue, turning it into a ss of chaotic purple and abyssal black. The staircase shattered and collapsed, and Alan fell into the Abyss. The illusory door opened, and Alan finally saw the sight beyond it, as insanity threatened to ruin him.

It was a dragon, A Calamitous Abomination with three heads looking down at him in a frenzied state, yet in that frenzy, it calmly judged him. Its eyes silently judged him, and that judgnt drove Alan to insanity.

"..."

Alan fell into the Abyss, and insanity took over, and the dream ended. He awoke in the real world, and the light of dawn swept over him in his room on the upper floors of the Café. Alan, exhausted, sat up and looked out the window. The Capitol was always awake, and the streets were still bustling. He sighed and went to the bathroom to wash his face.

As expected, the ’cold’ water felt warm to him, and he had to use magic to turn it colder. His dark circles had reappeared, forcing Alan to cast another spell to get rid of them. A few ’Cleans’ and ’Rejuvenate’, along with ’Polymorph’.

Polymorph was another skill he acquired after the seal was removed. It was the skill that allowed Dragons to turn into any other species. Adult Dragons used it to explore the universe in obscure forms. It was an incredibly versatile skill.

Alan could turn himself into a man or woman of virtually any species. It basically gave him a specific form for every species of both genders. It was a skill he was eager to try... but at the sa ti, he was hesitant.

He knew, once he seriously started to use Polymorph for whatever purpose, he would slowly start losing resistance to turning into the other gender... and Alan was afraid he wouldn’t want to go back.

Why? Because he was a damn frost dragon at his core! Any female form, especially elven and human, would be breathtakingly beautiful. As soone who was a bit conscious about his charm, he might fall in love with himself and refuse to turn back.

A female frost dragon was the most breathtaking beauty in the universe! Besides, Alan’s features would undoubtedly be like Lanesha’s; he just couldn’t risk it!

Polymorph must only be used in ergencies! And it must always be monitored carefully! Carefully!

Alan shivered as he thought of the consequences and went down. The Café was open all the ti, and nurous workers had been hired as backup whenever his grandparents needed a break. So of them were awakened under Twilight, pretending to be ordinary workers when they were actually Bodyguards.

As he descended the stairs, Alan’s nose caught a whiff of a familiar scent. It was lavender, laced with a slight sll of blood. Alan’s eyes lit up as he scanned the café and found Sabrina in front of the counter, waving at him. In her other hand lay a cup of red...wine?

’No, that’s blood.’

Alan confird and was sowhat shocked. Although he knew she was a vampire now, wasn’t it a bit bold to be drinking blood out in the open? Although the blood of that creature couldn’t be differentiated from ordinary red wine... it was still suspicious to be drinking that in a Café.

He approached her, as she eyed him up with a hint of approval in her face.

"I like this change, you’re not too bulky now, and neither too skinny! This is perfect."

He chuckled and said.

"I know, right? I was surprised too."

She rested her hand on her cheek and slowly shook the glass of wine as she asked.

"What happened for this to happen? I fear your charm is going to attract opposition now."

Alan shrugged his shoulders.

"I had the living daylights beaten out of in the pretense of training by Valus."

Sabrina’s face twitched for a second before returning to normal. She spoke in a low voice.

’I don’t think The Supre Dragon of Darkness should be referred to just by his na...’

But then again, he was Alan’s uncle, so perhaps it was all right for him to address him in such a manner. She couldn’t shake off the suspicion that he was just venting his frustration for the ’training,’ however.

"By the way, you weren’t answering."

He asked, leaning over the counter and coming frighteningly close to Sabrina’s face. His nose twitched a little due to the cup filled with blood, but he ignored it. A smirk appeared on Sabrina’s face.

"Oh? Is this Jealousy? Or Obsession?"

Was he jealous she wasn’t answering his calls? That was cute; she liked that response. Sabrina wasn’t ignoring him; she was just asleep. She had spent a lot of ntal energy transforming a significant amount of House Wellington into Vampires, and had to sleep for a few days to recover.

"Can it be both?"

"Who taught you this? What is this sudden change?"

She was shocked at the response, the normally dull and ’stone’ like man she knew was gone. Alan had gotten more expressive, in both his words and body language. He chuckled as he noticed her reaction and moved back.

"Nothing, just got my mind cleared a while back. So, what was the occasion?"

He couldn’t exactly tell her about the seal placed on him, and the other various special experiences, and she could tell he was hiding sothing, and didn’t pry further. Sabrina tried her best to adhere to the warnings her domain gave. She opened the Astral bond and recollected her experiences, starting with the Wellington family.

It wasn’t sothing she could say so casually in a Café filled with people, most of whom were already looking over at the two of them. They mostly recognized Alan.

Alan maintained a steadfast expression as he heard it all, and nodded when it was done.

[Huh, so you’re basically building a private army? Nice.]

He comnted, sowhat astonished. But since he also had a private army in his domain, he wasn’t too shocked. However, Sabrina’s army was far more versatile than his. He couldn’t use his soldiers effectively without activating the Jade Palace, and the Jade Palace needed an enormous amount of space to actually be activated. He couldn’t use it in a city at all.

Sabrina’s private army of Vampires was much more useful than his soldiers, who only knew how to attack. Worse, he couldn’t bla them... because they were all modeled after him.

Sabrina finished her cup of blood and suggested.

"Also, want to go sowhere? We have about three hours to ourselves, and then we have to attend the conference."

"What?"

Alan asked, confused. And then, his communicator rang.
