He could not let that happen.

Because Aria’s birthday just had to be perfect. He refused to risk even a tiny chance of failure. So he stared down at his half eaten food and a wide grin spread across his face.

’Why am I even getting that tailor to physically make those clothes for ?’ Adrian thought. ’My dungeon can make those in a few seconds and this will bring the risk down to zero.’

He just needed the designs now.

’I will just make them focus entirely on the design process.’ Adrian nodded to himself. ’They handle the design, and I handle the manufacturing.’

This was the ultimate strategy. Taking the sewing part away from the tailor fixed everything. The dungeon would just make sure the dress ca out flawless without any human error and that settled the matter.

Adrian chewed up his last bite of food and wiped his mouth on a cloth before getting up from his chair.

"I will be back in a little bit, Aria." Adrian said. "Stay here and stay safe."

"Okay, Papa!" Aria waved at him and continued eating happily.

Adrian walked out of the inn and headed straight for the comrcial district. The streets were already busy with rchants and other people walking around like always. Soon, he reached the premium clothing shop.

He pushed the glass doors open.

The main tailor was standing right behind the wooden counter. The old man seed hyper focused and Adrian could see dozens of scattered papers spread across the desk. The guy was already sketching out rough drafts for the dresses.

The old guy noticed Adrian right away. He placed his pencil on the desk and gave a really deep bow while smiling ear to ear.

"Welco back, my lord." the tailor greeted.

"Nice to see you again." Adrian said and walked straight up to the counter. "I ca because I have made a slight change of plans."

The tailor blinked, looking slightly nervous.

"I want you to stop worrying about making the actual clothes." Adrian said. "I want you to focus one hundred percent of your energy on just the designs. I want the absolute best, most beautiful designs you can possibly make."

Adrian pointed at the scattered sketches on the desk.

"And I need multiple design options for every single dress." Adrian added. "Once you finalize the designs, I want you to write down the exact details on how you’d stitch them if you didn’t have ti contraints. Write down exactly what stitches to use and what kind of yarn we need. Tell how to spin that yarn too. I want every single tiny detail written out for every outfit."

The old man just stared at him. He looked completely lost.

"Do not worry about the money." Adrian assured him quickly. "I am going to pay you the exact sa amount we agreed on yesterday. Just do the design work."

Adrian leaned against the wooden counter.

"I want this project to be perfect." Adrian explained smoothly. "And I know the ti limit is extrely tight. So I just want you to focus on the design side of things. I will handle the stitching part myself. You do not have to stress over sewing and stitching because I will get the clothes done myself."

The tailor’s face fell.

Adrian could read the guy pretty easily. The old man was clearly doubting the logic here. How could a noble Baron possibly manufacture a premium silk dress on his own?

Adrian knew a question was coming.

"Do not ask any questions." he shut him down before the question even ca out.

"I have my own ways to pull this off. I promise it will be perfect so your only job is to draw the designs."

The tailor closed his mouth and offered another quick bow.

"Understood, my lord." the tailor said slow. "I will do exactly as you ask."

But the old man looked incredibly sad.

He had spent his entire life taking orders from arrogant nobles. The rich custors always dictated exactly what they wanted, leaving the tailor with zero creative freedom. He was just a living sewing machine to them.

But yesterday, Adrian had given him total creative control. Adrian had promised to give him all the money required and told him to just go wild. The tailor had finally gotten the chance to prove his artistic genius.

And now, Adrian was stripping the actual creation process away from him.

Adrian watched the enthusiasm completely die out in the old man’s eyes. And seeing that sad reaction actually made Adrian feel pretty bad because he really did not want to ruin the old guy’s dreams right there.

So he decided to take things a step further. He would fix the problem and give the man a test at the exact sa ti.

"Listen to ." Adrian said, lowering his voice. "If you do this perfectly, I am going to get you a massive shop right in the center of Oresfall."

The tailor looked up instantly.

"I will make you my personal, official territory tailor." Adrian offered. "That clothing shop will be completely under my protection. "You will never pay a single bronze coin for rent. That shop will belong to you entirely."

Adrian tapped his finger against the desk.

"And I will also give you all the premium fabrics for free."

Adrian continued. "And in return, you get absolute creative freedom for the rest of your life. You will have the legal right to say no to any noble who walks through your doors. If they have a problem with your designs, they will have to co and deal with directly."

The tailor’s jaw dropped as he heard this.

"I will hand over every single resource you could ever need." Adrian told him."The rest is entirely in your hands. I have a brilliant financial manager under my command. He can sell your clothes across the entire empire for massive premium prices. As long as you make sure your art is actually worth those prices."

Adrian stood up straight.

"But this deal only applies if you deliver a flawless design for my daughter’s birthday." Adrian stated firmly. "I want the nobles at that party to praise my daughter. I do not care if they praise and I don’t care if they praise Serena or Claire. I want all the attention on my daughter."
