"That’s a good idea." Drake nodded, looking at the nearly flawless photograph.

Due to his race, he had been specifically in charge of patrolling the territory and managing any outsider Beastn ever since they took over the city-state.

Seeing that everyone was now motivated, Evangeline’s expression grew serious. "There’s one more thing we need to make clear," she said earnestly. "Any Beastman who wants to join our city-state must sign a contract. Otherwise, they will not be accepted under any circumstances."

"Furthermore, any wandering Beastman who has information about the Grimgar City-State can co and receive City-state Coins or a standard citizen’s ’Identity Card,’ depending on the value of their intel."

She had been here for a month, constantly trying to get news about the Grimgar City-State, but to no avail. She knew nothing, other than that it was the Holy City of the Beastman City-states and that The Dragon God resided there.

’Cassian Zane is certainly bold, daring to hide right in The Dragon God’s territory.’

At the ntion of this, everyone’s expression turned solemn, and they all nodded.

The most pressing matter was to investigate the Grimgar City-State as soon as possible. Caden Albright and Lachlan had been gone for long enough.

「The next day」

They followed Evangeline’s instructions, organizing and registering the information of every citizen in the city-state.

Loras was in charge of taking the citizens’ photographs. He enjoyed the ticulous work and had a real talent for photography. The instant photos allowed every citizen to have their own Identity Card, which was marked with their picture, na, and a string of mysterious numbers.

None of them recognized the numbers, but the citizens loved their brand-new photos on the Identity Cards they received.

While the citizens were excitedly collecting their Identity Cards, the City-State of the Paragon Troupe received visitors.

"The Lion-Salt City-state?" Evangeline asked, raising her eyes to look at Drake as she toyed with a small, cool-skinned snake.

Drake nodded slightly. "Quite a few people ca, including the Lion-Salt City-state’s Commander, Leomund. I saw Riley Atwood by his side."

"They’re finally here. Let’s go see." Evangeline stood and stretched her waist. As a Task Taker with considerable experience in childbirth, her postpartum figure had recovered exceptionally well. In fact, certain parts had beco even more magnificent.

As they were leaving the room, Evangeline grabbed Drake’s arm and ran a hand over his waist, her voice dripping with seduction. "Drake, isn’t it your turn to keep company tonight?"

The female’s soft breath brushed against his chest. Drake’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he felt a flutter of desire in his heart.

He grabbed Evangeline’s wrist in return, his eyes darkening slightly, but he said nothing. Everything was understood without words.

Evangeline chuckled softly and led Drake out by the hand.

They had just reached the outside of the city-state’s fortress when they heard The Everwake’s magnetic and haughty voice. "Well? Have you had a good look, Commander Leomund? Aren’t these red bricks far superior to green bricks? Interested in trading for a batch?"

He wasn’t the least bit afraid of the Lion-Salt City-state turning hostile. He even had the ti to earn so City-state Coins for their own city-state.

That was right. Among the males, The Everwake had the most potential as a rchant. He was sharp with numbers and loved doing business. He was currently in charge of the city-state’s storehouses, but the fact that resources were only going out and not coming in left him quite dissatisfied.

And so, the mont the Lion-Salt City-state arrived, he had thrown himself into his sales pitch.

Leomund stared at the red bricks piled like small mountains all over the ground, his face a mask of unconcealed shock. He was almost speechless.

It wasn’t just him. Even Riley Atwood, standing to the side with a smug, villainous air, was stunned by the brand-new city-state.

In just one short month, the place was unrecognizable as the forr Otterhaven City-State. So much had changed—and not just its appearance. Even the lowly, lower-class citizens were now full of life, as if so great fortune had befallen them. Everyone had shed their forr listless, numb expressions.

’And this Druid can even make red bricks! Red bricks that are even sturdier than green bricks!’

’Of course, he knew what great benefits this could bring to a city-state. Before long, this "City-State of the Paragon Troupe" could beco a dium-sized City-State, or even one of the rare large ones, just like the Earth-Armor City-state!’

It took a long ti for Leomund to quell the surging shock in his heart.

He truly hadn’t expected that the Otterhaven City-State could develop like this after being invaded.

’Is this the power of a Druid?’

He had learned from Riley Atwood that the one who had taken over the Otterhaven City-State was a female—and a Druid at that!

Because of this news, he had long delayed coming to Aiden Atwood’s aid or sending troops to attack. It wasn’t until recently that he heard news of what could only be described as drastic reforms coming from within the City-State of the Paragon Troupe.

This made him even more curious.

Of course, the most important thing was that after taking over the Otterhaven City-State, the City-State of the Paragon Troupe seed to have forgotten that they were a vassal of the Lion-Salt City-state. They had not sent any salt or tribute, which made him very displeased.

After all, the Lion-Salt City-state had established itself by trading salt, and its few vassal states were all small, coastal city-states.

As for what Riley Atwood had said—that the Devil’s Sea had completely cald and now allowed Beastn to enter—that was also an extrely shocking piece of news.

If that was confird, the territories of the coastal city-states would beco a hot commodity, and countless other city-states would co to get a piece of the pie.

After all, while the Devil’s Sea was terrifying, its resources were also incredibly abundant. There, one hardly had to worry about a lack of prey. If the Devil’s Sea hadn’t previously forbidden Beastn from entering, the area would never have been carved up by small city-states in the first place.

"You should know that no matter what this city-state is called, it is a vassal of our Lion-Salt City-state. Since you can make red bricks, you don’t need to send salt anymore. Just send red bricks to the Lion-Salt City-state from now on."

"Of course, if you are willing to hand over the thod for making red bricks, then during the upcoming Sharp Teeth Judgnt, our Lion-Salt City-state will do everything in our power to help the City-State of the Paragon Troupe beco a dium-sized City-State! How about it?"

Leomund’s mind whirred, and he loudly voiced his calculations.

’If he could obtain the thod for making red bricks, losing one vassal city-state would be no big deal.’

’They might even be able to form a friendly relationship with a Druid. In that case, the pros would far outweigh the cons.’

"What?" The Everwake tilted his head, his ink-black hair swaying. The butterfly marking on his cheek seed to give off an otherworldly glow.

His rainbow-colored eyes were filled with mockery. Although he didn’t say it outright, his expression of utter contempt was unmistakable.

"You!" As the Commander of a dium-sized City-State, when had Leomund ever been treated with such disrespect?

"What about ?" The Everwake raised an eyebrow and sneered. "The City-State of the Paragon Troupe is not the Otterhaven City-State. We will not beco anyone’s vassal. You want the thod for making red bricks? Dream on."

Beside him, Loras said nothing, his deep purple eyes also fixed coldly on Leomund.

Riley Atwood’s eyes darted about as he whispered, "Commander, you see? These people have no respect for you at all! I told you, these Savage Beastn from Norfell don’t understand anything! In our Beastman City-states, the strong devour the weak. Isn’t it simple to get the thod for making red bricks? This is the perfect chance to incorporate the City-State of the Paragon Troupe into the Lion-Salt City-state’s territory!"

Leomund’s face darkened. After hearing Riley Atwood’s words, a cold smile suddenly spread across his lips.

An extrely powerful aura suddenly erupted from him—the power of a War Pattern-level Beastman.
