Olivia, who had no idea what was going on, put down her wine glass and left her seat imdiately upon receiving peilu’s summons. She quickly arrived at the princess’s door. "Princess peilu, Vice Captain of the Second Squad of the Third Legion, Olivia."

"Co in." Only after receiving permission did Olivia push open the door and step inside.

She wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but Princess peilu seed to be in an unusually good mood. Just monts ago, when she had left the banquet, she had still looked rather gloomy.

Olivia knelt on one knee before peilu. "Your Highness, what do you need from ?"

"Sit down," peilu gestured for Olivia to take a seat across from her.

Olivia hesitated slightly but still took a seat, though she was visibly uneasy. "Then, I’ll accept your grace, Your Highness."

Minoya poured tea for the two of them.

"Lady Minoya, how could I possibly allow you to pour tea for ?!" Olivia was shocked. The esteed Judge personally serving tea? That was an honor reserved only for the king or the king’s heir.

"Sit down. Princess peilu has so things she wants to ask you." Minoya, on the other hand, was completely unfazed.

After all, she wasn’t just a Kingdom Knight and Guardian Knight. When she was by peilu’s side, she was also a servant.

Or rather, she actually quite enjoyed playing the role of a servant.

"Oh, alright!" Olivia adjusted her posture. "What is it you wish to ask, Your Highness? Is it about Lady Liana?"

peilu nodded. "I didn’t get the chance to talk about it properly at the banquet. How has Liana been behaving lately?"

At the ntion of this, Olivia huffed in frustration. "Lady Liana is just too much! Naibet told that she completely forced Loraviel to stay at the Venus estate."

"I also heard that Loraviel originally ca to take the entrance exam for Ibet Magic Academy, but because of Lady Liana, not only did she miss the exam, but she was also forced to stay at the Venus estate as a maid."

"And that’s not all! When I arrived at the Venus estate, she made agree to sothing—she asked to train Loraviel in combat skills so she wouldn’t bother you anymore, Princess peilu. But I later realized that the real reason she wanted to do that was so Loraviel could… endure more tornt…" Olivia worded it carefully.

peilu glanced at Minoya, who shook her head. In the past month, Liana hadn’t laid a hand on Loraviel. In fact, she had been quite good to her.

She had Olivia train her, let her study magic in the library, and while it was true that she had stopped Loraviel from taking the entrance exam, Minoya had later discovered that Liana had plans to send her back in two years. During that ti, Liana had also arranged to pay her a salary. There were no signs of any abuse.

It was likely that Liana had been forced to make a difficult choice back then. But in return, she had compensated Loraviel in her own way.

The amount of knowledge within the Venus estate was just as vast—if not more—than what was available at Ibet Magic Academy. And now, after studying at the Venus estate, Loraviel would still be able to attend Ibet.

"Hmm… I see. But… it’s best if you don’t speak ill of Liana," peilu muttered. She was a bit frustrated, but Olivia wasn’t aware of the truth. It was understandable that she felt this way.

"Alright." Olivia knew well how protective peilu was of Liana.

"Your Highness, if possible, please save Loraviel. She’s truly a hardworking child," Olivia pleaded.

"Hmm, I’ll think about it." peilu had no intention of interfering in this matter. Liana must have had her reasons. She had already rejected Liana once. If she disrupted her plans again, that would truly make her an awful person.

Besides, being by Liana’s side, Loraviel wouldn’t suffer in any way. If anything, peilu was a little envious of her. She got to stay with Liana every day.

"Please, Your Highness! You must have heard the rumors, right? Lady Liana likes won. And every night, Loraviel has to go to Liana’s room to warm her bed… Ah!" Olivia trailed off.

"What…?!"

peilu froze and turned to look at Minoya. But this ti, Minoya didn’t shake her head. Instead, she nodded.

CRACK!

The glass cup in peilu’s hand shattered under her grip. The scalding tea spilled down her hand, but she didn’t feel the pain at all.

Jealousy! Jealousy! Jealousy! Jealousy! Jealousy! Jealousy!

"Your Highness?! What’s wrong?!" Olivia jumped at the sudden sound. "Are you alright?!"

peilu shook her head and wiped the spilled tea off her hand with a napkin. A divine glow healed her minor burn. "That’s truly unacceptable!"

"Exactly! Lady Liana is being way too much!"

Princess peilu really was too kind. She was furious to this extent because of such an injustice!

[Loraviel is way too much! She gets to sleep with Liana every night! I haven’t slept with Liana in five or six years!]

peilu cleared her throat. "I’ll think of a way to handle this. But it won’t be easy… After all, it’s Liana."

Olivia nodded. She understood well how troubleso Liana was. Even if it was Princess peilu, Liana wouldn’t listen to her. Finding a way to safely take Loraviel away was going to be extrely difficult.

"So for now, just stay in the Venus estate and protect Li… Loraviel."

Since I can’t stay by Liana’s side all the ti, having Olivia here to watch over her should be fine, right?

"I can do that, but what about my duty as a royal guard in the Lisat capital…?" The Third Legion was peilu’s personal royal guard, ant to protect her.

"Consider it a vacation. Besides, I probably won’t be returning to the capital much in the near future, so there’s no need to worry about security. It’s a ti of peace, after all. No need to be so cautious. And I have Minoya with ."

"Understood! Your Highness, I will make sure to protect Loraviel!"

"Good. Make sure you watch her carefully!" That damn sneaky cat! You better keep an eye on her!

"Understood!" Olivia wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but she felt a very strong sense of resentnt in the air. Yet, she had no idea where it was coming from.
