With a thunderous crash, when Jovian dragged the Ultimate Sentinel through the spaceti tunnel, the sight that t him was a colossal planet made entirely of tal.

It was the super fortress built by the Ultimate Sentinel.

"Coming to this world with was the biggest mistake you could have made."

The Ultimate Sentinel looked at Jovian and spoke coldly.

"In this world, I am invincible."

The Ultimate Sentinel spread his arms. At his gesture, rows of Sentinel robots moved like soldiers under his command, forming ranks and advancing on Jovian.

Jovian listened to all that pointless prattle, then accelerated in an instant and cut the Ultimate Sentinel’s head clean off.

"That’s it?"

Holding the Ultimate Sentinel’s severed head in one hand, Jovian squeezed lightly and crushed it into scrap. At the sa ti, his eyes began to glow faintly red.

Crimson-gold light erupted from his eyes and tore the Ultimate Sentinel’s body into countless pieces.

Then, after the Ultimate Sentinel had been shredded apart, golden light flared around Jovian’s body. An imnse invisible force twisted what remained of the Ultimate Sentinel into a dense lump of discarded tal.

Just as Jovian was about to completely scatter what was left of it, a round of applause reached his ears.

He narrowed his eyes.

"That power really is impressive. You are the strongest mutant I have ever seen, no, more accurately, the strongest mutant in the history of this universe. But you still cannot kill , because in this world, I am invincible."

"I am not an individual. I am a complete whole. Every Sentinel here is . In other words, unless you destroy every Sentinel in this place, you will never destroy . And in this universe, there are tens of thousands of Sentinels."

An ordinary Sentinel clapped as it spoke in the exact sa tone as the Ultimate Sentinel.

"Interesting. So the only way to destroy you is to destroy everything here? Perfect."

As soon as Jovian finished speaking, an intense crimson-gold radiance flared in his eyes, and blazing flas burst from his body.

"Full power release, teoric Burst Mode!"

Boundless energy exploded out of him. In that mont, Jovian looked like a star burning at full intensity, and the entire planet dimd beneath the pressure of the energy he was unleashing.

Then, with the slow thump of his heartbeat, a dazzling multicolored energy cannon gathered at his chest.

"I’ll wipe out all you trash, along with your planet."

"Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon!!!"

Facing the mass of Ultimate Sentinel bodies ahead of him, Jovian wasted no words. He imdiately fired his ultimate anti-army attack, the Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon.

In an instant, endless energy surged toward the Sentinel army.

In response, Sentinel after Sentinel lifted off from the ground and raised layers of colored energy shields in front of the giant tallic war fortress they had built.

A mont later, those Sentinels, each holding up a shield strong enough to withstand surface-shattering levels of destruction, were reduced to ash beneath Jovian’s cannon. But every ti thousands were annihilated, more units took their place, endless, unceasing.

"Pathetic."

Jovian watched the Sentinels vanish one after another, a hint of contempt crossing his face.

"Break!"

As he said it, he raised the power output again and instantly swallowed up every last Sentinel in the blast. With those damned robots gone, his energy slamd directly into the enormous tallic war fortress.

In an instant, the entire atmosphere surrounding the fortress was burned through and obliterated. The giant tal sphere itself began to lt under the endless force of Jovian’s energy cannon, a blast approaching the temperature of the sun’s core.

Just as Jovian pushed the output even higher, driving the cannon’s heat beyond the sun’s core and closer to the absolute limit, a sharp cry rang out in his mind, and his energy cannon vanished completely.

"You’ve angered , foolish mutant. Now accept your judgnt. Today is your doomsday."

Wrapped in crimson psychic flas, the Ultimate Sentinel, now wearing a red cape behind him, slowly floated into the air and stared down at Jovian with glacial eyes.

"The Phoenix Force?"

Jovian raised a brow as he looked at the imnse energy surrounding the Ultimate Sentinel.

"So you recognize this power. Since you understand its greatness, then you should know that giving up is what you, and every mutant in this world, should do."

The Ultimate Sentinel smiled with an unnervingly human expression as he continued speaking to Jovian through the psychic plane.

Jovian let out a dismissive laugh.

"Phoenix Force? Don’t act like you’re the only one who has it."

In the next second, his own body ignited with the sa kind of overwhelming power wrapped around the Ultimate Sentinel.

A piercing cry echoed through the minds of every life-form in the star system, and endless psychic energy blazed around Jovian. Its shape resembled a gigantic phoenix baring its claws.

"The Phoenix Force?"

The Ultimate Sentinel stared wide-eyed at the vast Phoenix Force raging around Jovian, as if he could not believe anyone in this universe could ta it the way he had.

"What exactly are you so shocked about?"

Jovian looked at him with open disdain.

"The Phoenix Force inside you, and the Phoenix Force inside , at best they’re both just tiny fragnts of the complete Phoenix Force."

"But even fragnts can be very different from one another."

As Jovian’s words echoed through the Ultimate Sentinel’s mind, flas burst to life in Jovian’s eyes.

"That only proves my power is greater than yours."

With the Phoenix Force amplifying him, the Ultimate Sentinel had already crossed beyond the realm of machines. He had beco sothing almost human, and clearly unwilling to accept the difference between them. Wrapped in endless power, he charged straight at Jovian.

In the next instant, Jovian blasted him away with the energy firing from his eyes, sending him crashing back into the giant war fortress behind him.

"So that’s all you’ve got, Sentinel?"

"This is the power of the one who claid he’d wipe out every mutant? Then why are you on your knees now, unable to move? What, out of strength already? Looking at how pathetic you are now, I actually feel sorry for your creator."

Jovian kept increasing the output pouring from his eyes, striking the Ultimate Sentinel again and again while relentlessly hamring at his mind.

"Shut up."

The Ultimate Sentinel’s logic began to destabilize. Rage rose inside him, and at the sa ti, his eyes lit up with crimson-gold light.

Using the countless mutant powers loaded into his body, he quickly found a counterasure for soone like Jovian. He loaded Scott Sumrs’ mutant genes into himself, then unleashed that power with the Phoenix Force as its amplifier.

In an instant, two crimson-gold beams forged from the Phoenix Force exploded against each other in the cosmos.

When the oldest and most powerful energy in existence collided, all other energy seed dim by comparison. Space, matter, ti, all of it looked insignificant before the Phoenix Force.

"The extermination of mutants is the only truth in this world. Your existence is a mistake!"

The Ultimate Sentinel denied Jovian’s very life.

"Mutants aren’t sothing I created. If you think their existence is a mistake, then go pick a fight with the Celestials. What’s the point of barking at ?"

Jovian pushed through the Phoenix Force pressure, reached the Ultimate Sentinel, and smacked him hard across the face.

The Ultimate Sentinel said nothing.

Sent flying by that slap, he remained speechless for a long ti. Jovian would never know just how much damage one solid smack could do to a three-year-old Ultimate Sentinel.

"Open your eyes and watch. Watch wipe every mutant from every world clean!"

The Ultimate Sentinel’s mind roared. Then the blazing fire coiling around his body spread instantly across the chanical planet below him.

Another phoenix cry rang out, and an enormous Ultimate Sentinel body, as large as a planet, rose into the sky.

"So the planet is your real body?!"

Jovian frowned at the monstrous thing in front of him.

The Ultimate Sentinel did not answer. Instead, he erupted with another surge of terrifying Phoenix Force, followed by a devastating shockwave.

That impact blasted Jovian away.

"Farewell, foolish mutant. Open your eyes and watch destroy every mutant in this world!"

A gigantic space-ti wormhole opened in front of the Ultimate Sentinel, and in the next mont, his enormous body vanished into the cosmos.

"Motherfucker!"

Watching that shaless little three-year-old punk sucker-punch a fully grown eighteen-year-old man, Jovian felt a flash of anger rise in his chest.

"I’d like to see where you think you’re running."

With a wave of his hand, a golden Spaceti Gate slowly opened in front of him.

Back on Earth, under Charles’s direction, the mutants moved with flawless coordination.

"They’re just garbage, and they think they can deal with mutants? What a joke."

Psylocke gripped a massive psionic blade nearly 130 feet long, and every swing left several Sentinel robots dead and lifeless.

Magneto, Erik Lehnsherr, gave a cold snort and manipulated steel beams to crush the Sentinel robots, physically compressing them into mangled lumps of wreckage.

Beast, Hank McCoy, Mystique, Raven Darkhol, and the others stayed on the periter, firing weapons into the machines. It did not do much damage, but it was enough to draw so of the robots’ attention.

High above them, Storm dominated the battlefield with thunder in her hands. Before leaving, Jovian had removed the restraints on Storm and fully released her Oga-level mutant power. Wrapped in terrifying lightning, Ororo Munroe looked even more like the God of Thunder than Thor himself.

Angel’s body tore through the air in a string of sonic booms. At supersonic speed, his wings could slice Sentinel bodies clean in half with ease.

Unfortunately, those Sentinel robots seed capable of reassembling themselves, which made Angel’s power look a little less effective than it should have.

"There are too many Sentinels, Erik. Pull them all together. The only way to deal with them is with nukes."

Charles’s consciousness was linked across the globe. He knew every part of the planet was under Sentinel assault. The tens of thousands of robots had already caused catastrophic damage worldwide. The only way to stop it was for Erik to gather them all into one place so they could be destroyed with nuclear weapons.

"You don’t need to tell that."

Erik let out a cold snort, clearly disdainful of Charles’s tone, but his body was already moving to do exactly that. No matter how much he grumbled, in the end, he still listened.

Then, amid wave after wave of thunderous noise, every tal object in the world seed to co alive. Cars rose into the sky, trapping Sentinels inside makeshift cages before carrying them toward Egypt, where Charles and the others were gathered.

"Uh... does insurance cover that?"

Young people everywhere looked up at their cars flying into the sky and muttered under their breath.

When Magneto, Erik Lehnsherr, truly cut loose, the entire battlefield beca his stage. He taught everyone present exactly what scale ant.

"Fa, uh... Eri, uh... Magneto!"

Quicksilver muttered under his breath as he stared at Erik. He wanted to call him Father, but the word would not co out. Calling him by na felt disrespectful, so in the end he settled on Magneto.

Erik turned his head and looked at Quicksilver, his eyes clearly asking, Well? What is it?

"Magneto, why did you tear down the Golden Gate Bridge?"

Quicksilver pointed at the Golden Gate Bridge, which was currently being used to pin down five Sentinel robots. In his eyes, using an entire landmark to trap just five Sentinels was a terrible trade. If you were talking pure efficiency, cars were obviously the better option.

"Because I can."

Erik smiled faintly.

Quicksilver instantly had no reply. At that mont, he gained a very clear understanding of just how overbearing his father, Magneto, really was.
