The implication was that the situation was serious, and Chi Yu might have to stay a few more days.
This left Yi Shu panicked.
The truth couldn’t stay hidden forever. If news broke that Chi Yu was in the police station for fighting and then fought again while there, it would likely shake his acting career for a long ti before things cald down.
When Chi Yu went in, he had said he would clean up the ss himself. Yi Shu didn’t really believe Chi Yu could handle it, given that Chi Yu had previously relied on President Gu’s backing, and now without it, he’d surely be ruined.
Yi Shu, with little sense of sha, imdiately sought out Gu Yuan.
He made a call directly. Once it connected, Yi Shu didn’t dare beat around the bush: "President Gu, it’s only out of desperation that I’m asking for your help—Chi Yu, he..."
"Chi Yu’s matter?" Gu Yuan’s voice over the phone was exceptionally cold.
