This vampire-thed web series is called "My Strange Boyfriend." The male lead is nad Yin Xi, and he’s awakened by the female lead Le Yi, who accidentally falls off a cliff during a school-organized field trip.
Le Yi was a female vampire over a thousand years ago, back when the male lead Yin Xi was still human. They knew and loved each other, enduring various challenges and trials, seemingly on the verge of a happy ending, when a dramatic change occurred.
Le Yi was forced to turn Yin Xi into a vampire, but she herself died. Yin Xi beca an immortal and lonely vampire, and although he could live forever, the solitude was unbearable for him.
After living alone for hundreds of years, he chose to sleep in an icy pool.
A thousand years later, the reincarnated Le Yi falls into the icy pool during a school field trip, disrupting the silence Yin Xi had maintained for hundreds of years.
From then on, Yin Xi wakes up and quickly adapts to everything around him. He gradually approaches Le Yi, uncertain if she is the reincarnation of his forr lover, torn between disdain and an irresistible attraction.
The entire storyline is rather steady, with a humorous tone. The female lead is an adorable girl, while the male lead is an aloof yet subtly curious ice-cold beauty who secretly tests whether the female lead is his reincarnated lover.
This kind of plot hinges on the visual appeal of the leads, followed by the intriguing and joyful dialogues within the story, and the touching thousand-year love between the leads.
The plot is sowhat ordinary, so it’s up to the actors to bring it to life.
The director is a second-tier director nad Xu Qiuheng. He has directed nurous web dramas and has even received awards; his skills are not in question.
The investors have already provided funding, and the costu and makeup departnts are well-prepared. The production is set to begin soon.
