The guests who have woken up slowly co downstairs.
Lin Shi, still on the stairs, slls the aroma of hot noodles with cilantro from afar, scurries down to see Chi Yu sitting at the table eating noodles.
Lin Shi unceremoniously sits down, squeezing next to Chi Yu, and puts his hand on Chi Yu’s shoulder: "Brother Yu, you’re not straightforward, eating noodles without calling ."
Chi Yu, who just picked up a strand of noodles, lets it fall back into the bowl as Lin Shi puts his hand on his shoulder.
His eyes beco colder than before, his lips tightly pressed, shaped like willow leaves; after two or three seconds, a suddenly cold voice cos from his mouth: "Hand, take it off."
Lin Shi doesn’t take it to heart.
Just feels a bit chilly, and this coldness is emanating from Chi Yu.
Lin Shi doesn’t think much, his arm still set on Chi Yu’s shoulder, appearing as though they are close brothers.
"Didn’t hear Sister Yao say we’d have noodles this morning, it slls so good."
"Hey, Brother Yu, I rember you didn’t eat cilantro a few days ago, why are there so many in your noodle bowl?"
"Brother Yu, are there more noodles left?"
Lin Shi keeps babbling incessantly, not noticing the frost covering Chi Yu’s face.
The next second—
Lin Shi’s chatter turns into a scream: "┗|`O′|┛ ow~~"
After screaming, Lin Shi stands up abruptly; the pain from his arm distorts his face completely. He holds the arm Chi Yu twisted, yelling while saying, "What’s the matter, Brother Yu, why so harsh, almost broke my hand!"
At this mont, the haze on Chi Yu’s face has sowhat dissipated.
Because of Lin Shi’s noise, and after stretching a bit just now, the bowl of noodles suddenly lost its appeal.
He puts down the chopsticks and stands up.
Seeing Chi Yu leaving the table, Lin Shi hurriedly asks: "Brother Yu, you’re not eating?"
"Brother Yu, is this considered waste since you’re not eating?!"
"Hey, Brother Yu—"
"You broke my hand, and now you’re angry, what’s the logic in that? I haven’t even held a big grudge against you!!"
Babbling on for quite a while.
Still doesn’t see Chi Yu paying attention to him.
Lin Shi finally wisely shuts his mouth, albeit with great bewildernt.
What the hell is this?
Even though Chi Yu is usually aloof, when he speaks to him, he mostly responds. From the mont they t through the show till now, he’s never been ignored like this, not to ntion having his hand twisted, the force almost breaking it!!
The director cos over to take a look, inquires about Lin Shi’s hand condition, she saw the whole scene earlier with her own eyes, "I’ve got so Yunnan Baiyao spray, do you need so?"
Lin Shi worries his hand might swell, nods obediently: "Spray so, it’s over if it swells."
The director goes for the spray and applies it to Lin Shi’s wrist.
A bit red already, though with her experience, the wrist likely won’t swell, just hurt for a few minutes. When Chi Yu twisted his hand, he controlled the force, if it really were untad, they’d be heading to the hospital now.
...
The village chief cos early in the morning to open the door to the guest house.
Yao Tao said last night she asked the village chief to lock the outside door, it’s true; upon opening, the first person the village chief sees is Chi Yu, carrying a bag, greeting him with a smile: "Young man, up so early."
The village chief, after entering, closes the guest house door.
Chi Yu sees Huang left outside.
Huang desperately wants to co inside the guest house, but the village chief doesn’t allow it, extending a leg several tis, pushing Huang’s head back: "They’re scared of you, I’ll be out soon, wait for outside."
Huang: (╥╯^╰╥) Old darling, do you not love anymore!!
After closing the door, the village chief walks over with the bag in hand.
Chi Yu nods in response: "Morning, Chief."
While responding to the chief’s greeting, Chi Yu’s expression is no longer icy as before, or exuding a "stay away" aura; instead, it’s gentle, showing courtesy and respect towards the chief.
After coming over, the chief looks Chi Yu up and down, asks: "You look much better, did you sleep well last night? Any sleepwalking?"
Chi Yu lightly shakes his head: "No."
"That’s good then, that’s good," the chief analyzes: "I think you’re just too exhausted, that’s why you sleepwalk, once rested you’ll be fine."
Chi Yu: "Hmm."
The chief asks again: "You caught cold yesterday, is it bad today?"
Chi Yu: "Much better, no big issues."
"That’s good," the chief, on the way over, recalled Chi Yu blowing wind at the orchard the night before, felt cold yesterday. The bag he’s holding contains herbs he dried himself, specifically for clearing heat and detoxifying.
