Yi Shu approached Gu Yuan first and greeted her, to which Gu Yuan nodded and returned the sa greeting of good morning.
"President Gu, hasn’t Chi Yu woken up yet?" Yi Shu asked.
"He has." Gu Yuan glanced toward the stairs, not seeing Chi Yu coming down, and then said to Yi Shu, "He’s not down yet. If you have sothing important, go upstairs and talk to him."
"Oh, okay." Yi Shu nodded, ready to go upstairs to find Chi Yu.
After taking a few steps, Yi Shu thought of Chi Yu’s sleepwalking issue and turned back to ask Gu Yuan, "... Um, President Gu, did Chi Yu sleepwalk last night?"
Gu Yuan frowned, "Sleepwalking?"
"Yeah, sleepwalking." Yi Shu nodded.
Gu Yuan was completely unaware of this: "You’re saying that during the days he stayed at the farmstay, he would sleepwalk at night?"

Following Yi Shu’s gaze toward Sheng Yi, Gu Yuan also shifted her gaze, finally resting it on Sheng Yi: "Yiyi, do you know?"
Sheng Yi only rembered Chi Yu’s sleepwalking issue when Yi Shu brought it up.
At the ti, Chi Yu warned her not to ntion it in front of Yuanyuan, and Sheng Yi rembered thinking: Even without Chi Yu saying so, she wouldn’t imdiately tell Yuanyuan.
Yuanyuan was already busy, and having to worry about Chi Yu’s matters would be exhausting.
Due to her concern for Yuanyuan, Sheng Yi hadn’t brought up this issue till now.
However, now that Yi Shu ntioned it, and Yuanyuan wanted to know, Sheng Yi ntioned, "Yes, I’m aware of it, oh wait, I should say everyone in the production crew knows about Chi Yu’s sleepwalking, whether it’s the guests participating in the show or the crew."
Gu Yuan’s expression imdiately changed.
Before she could continue to inquire about Chi Yu’s sleepwalking during the farmstay and other matters, Chi Yu happened to co downstairs.
The sound of footsteps descending the stairs was abrupt.
Upon seeing Chi Yu, Yi Shu imdiately turned and walked over: "Chi Yu, you’re finally down, so here’s the thing... eh, Chi Yu...?"
Before Yi Shu could finish speaking, Chi Yu walked up to Gu Yuan, grabbed her hand, and headed outside.
Yi Shu was baffled.
Sheng Yi was bewildered.
Gu Yuan, being dragged outside by Chi Yu, wore an icy expression. She shook her hand twice but couldn’t break free, and shouted, "Chi Yu!"
Chi Yu suddenly stopped.
He turned to look at her.
The sa gaze, the sa expression, nothing was different, Gu Yuan thought she was hallucinating; she frowned coldly: "What’s gotten into you? Coming downstairs and dragging outside, can’t you say whatever it is here?"
Chi Yu let go of Gu Yuan’s hand.
The silent tension between them lasted no more than three to five seconds; Chi Yu was the first to relent: "I feel there are many mories between us in Ancient Water Village, and I want to revisit them with you."
He spoke so earnestly.
His gaze toward her was as affectionate as always, but when Gu Yuan wasn’t looking, that affection held depth, which belonged to whom Gu Yuan only needed a glance to know.
"Refused to tell the truth last night, but now you’re confessing it yourself." Gu Yuan rubbed her wrist, which had been hurt from his earlier grip.
A bit red, indicating the force Chi Yu exerted while holding her hand.
Chi Yu felt empathy, wanting to reach for her hand, but Gu Yuan avoided it: "Focus on business, don’t divert attention."
"I would have confessed anyway; I initially planned to tell you today and then bring you along to revisit the missing mories..." his deanor unchanged, he approached her closer by two steps: "What ill intentions could I have? I rely want to spend so alone ti with you."
Who knows if she fell for his trick.
Or if his expression was really that captivating.
Gu Yuan actually found herself believing his words.
Except for the sleepwalking issue which Gu Yuan hadn’t figured out, before she could inquire, Chi Yu confessed on his own: "I haven’t been sleeping well, hence sleepwalk."
He leaned closer, completely ignoring the cara right across them, and spoke to Gu Yuan: "I missed you, made it hard to sleep. Finally fell asleep, and because I missed you, even in dreams, I wanted to find you."
Gu Yuan: "Is that all?"
His expression abruptly shifted from playful to more serious: "...Perhaps, because it’s Ancient Water Village, I should have deeper connections here?"
Indeed, there are deep connections.
Because you once fild a show here.
We have many misunderstandings buried here.
During those few seconds when Gu Yuan’s expression relaxed, Chi Yu’s gaze grew deeper.
—Why not tell you I’ve returned.
—Because I’m afraid you’ll send away again.
—Yuanyuan, do you realize how much I love you?
