"Well, about that..." Qiao Huimin hesitated.
She couldn't very well tell her daughters that she'd just enjoyed a few blissful nights of intimacy, could she?

Just then, Jiang Xinghai chid in with an understanding smile. "I bought a lot of nutritional supplents yesterday. Auntie must have taken so, right?"

It was 7:50 AM.
The car arrived at the Shen Group.
At the entrance, however, a flamboyantly dressed woman was arguing with the new head of security, Xue Gui.
Several other security guards were nearby, but none of them could get a word in.
"Lingxue, you two go on upstairs. I'll stay and see what's going on."
Jiang Xinghai parked the car and walked toward the entrance.
"Xue Gui, you bastard! I've given you two children since we married—a son and a daughter! If there's no rit in that, at least acknowledge the hard work! But you? What happiness have you ever given ? Now my friend invites on a trip to relax, and you can't even spare a hundred thousand? How did I, Wang Ya, end up with such a miserable life?!"
This woman, Wang Ya, had given birth to two children, but she had kept her figure quite well.
Now, with her hands on her hips, she glared at Xue Gui like a shrew. "Eighty thousand! Get eighty thousand before dark, or we're getting a divorce!"

"I've already co down by twenty thousand for you, what more do you want? I said eighty thousand, and I an eighty thousand!"
Wang Ya seed about to compromise. "Give it to tonight when you get ho. Otherwise, I'm taking the kids to my parents' house!"
"Then I'd rather see you at the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow."
He might have let it go if she hadn't ntioned the children. But at their ntion, fury contorted Xue Gui's features. He threw his cigarette butt to the ground and viciously stamped it out.

Wang Ya seed to have heard the last thing she wanted to hear, and her expression beca extrely awkward. "Fine, fifty thousand. You can at least get fifty thousand by tonight, right?"
"See you at the Civil Affairs Bureau tomorrow."
Xue Gui didn't seem to want to look at Wang Ya for another second. He turned and walked away.
"Honey, I'll take thirty thousand! Is thirty thousand okay?" Wang Ya suddenly grabbed Xue Gui and hugged him. "I was wrong, I was wrong. I shouldn't have pushed you like this. Just thirty thousand."
Xue Gui didn't say a word. He looked at the other security guards. "All of you, disperse! Those who should be training, train! Those who should be on patrol, patrol! Minister Jiang is conducting an inspection the day after tomorrow. Don't slack off!"
Just as he finished speaking, he saw Jiang Xinghai standing to the side.
"Minister Jiang, you're here too," Xue Gui said, scratching his head.
"Your wife?" Jiang Xinghai asked, pointing at Wang Ya.
"Yes," Xue Gui nodded.

"Get lost!"
Suddenly, Xue Gui flung Wang Ya away from him.
Everyone, including Jiang Xinghai, was stunned.
"You have the gall to ntion those two children?"
Xue Gui suddenly erupted in fury, glaring at the terrified Wang Ya. "I was in the War Departnt for eight years! I suffered a severe injury and was dically evaluated to have only a fifty percent chance of having children. After we got married and didn't have kids for a long ti, I went to get tested again. The result was that my fertility rate is zero!"
"What?"
The color drained from Wang Ya's face.
The expressions of the other security guards also changed.
'No wonder Xue Gui is usually so quiet.'
'No wonder he blew up at his wife like that.'
