Jiang Xinghai raised an eyebrow. How exactly was an "improper gaze" defined?
Just one look, and he'd be deprived of his rights as a man?
"My Miss rarely shows her face to others. It's best not to stare at her for too long," Mi Hong explained quietly.
"What? Is your Miss so kind of Saintess?"
Hearing Mi Hong describe such an overbearing Ye Zhiqiu, Jiang Xinghai couldn't help but feel a flicker of disappointnt. "Is even looking at her considered blasphemy? In that case, I'd rather not treat her. I want to keep my life so I can enjoy all the pleasures the world has to offer."
He was supposed to be resting this afternoon, preparing for battle.
"Divine Doctor Jiang, don't mind it. As long as I'm here, you won't get into trouble. Just don't do anything that displeases her. I'll be sure to remind you," Mi Hong said, regaining her composure.
"I'll go for your sake, Sister Hong."
Jiang Xinghai glanced in the rearview mirror and saw Mi Hong's current expression was sowhat indescribable. He said, "Why the sudden cold shoulder? You had on the defensive just a mont ago."
"Divine Doctor Jiang, I don't know what you're talking about," Mi Hong said with a solemn expression.
Jiang Xinghai was speechless.
'This woman is really sothing else!'
'Is this what it ans to be ruthlessly cast aside?'
'No!'
'To a woman like her, it seems I'm just a piece of clothing, or maybe even just a tool!'
'To be thrown away after use?'
"Alright, I admit it. I was too impulsive earlier. Let's just pretend it never happened, okay?" Mi Hong leaned her head forward, whispering close to Jiang Xinghai's ear.
Her fragrant whisper made Jiang Xinghai turn his head with a smile.
The next instant, his lips were covered by hers.
"Of course, I hope we can maintain this... underground relationship," Mi Hong said quietly, pulling back again. The affection she felt for Jiang Xinghai was no longer hidden in her expression.
"In that case, I suppose I can bring myself to agree."
A corner of Jiang Xinghai's mouth lifted as he turned back and continued driving.
"You're so smug," Mi Hong said with a playful pout.
Along the way, Jiang Xinghai learned from Mi Hong that she was from the Central State. After finishing her graduate school entrance exams in Jizhou, she beca Ye Zhiqiu's piano teacher. The two were both teacher and friend.
Ye Zhiqiu, on the other hand, lived alone in Jizhou. Her parents were away expanding their business, so the two of them ended up living together.
「More than ten minutes later.」

"Alright, whatever you say, Zhiqiu." Mi Hong had already told Ye Zhiqiu that Jiang Xinghai would be coming for lunch.
「A few minutes later.」
A long-haired woman wearing a long, white button-down shirt walked down the stairs.
The long white shirt extended down her legs, perfectly concealing the white leggings she wore underneath.
Her full, shapely, and slender legs, however, were on full display, exuding a vibrant, athletic beauty.
The white shirt, white leggings, and white shoes set off her already fair complexion, creating the illusion that she was sowhat sickly.
However, this couldn't hide her exquisitely beautiful features, and her proud, delicate curves were on full display.
"Zhiqiu, you didn't change?" Mi Hong was slightly surprised and prompted her.
In the past, Ye Zhiqiu only wore this kind of outfit as loungewear.
She had never revealed it to outsiders.
