Yang Yanni's heart skipped a beat. She was stunned. She'd only ever heard phrases like that in fantasy films and television shows.

"So what if there are a lot of them?" Jiang Xinghai said dismissively.

Yang Yanni stopped trying to dissuade him. "We'll go in through the underground parking garage."

She seed to forget her own act, her response coming out completely naturally.

Soon, the Audi ca to a stop in the underground parking garage.

She wound her way through the crowd and slipped through a hidden door.

The space was a large, single-level flat, ford by knocking out the walls between two adjacent apartnts on the first floor.

Inside the room, several n in black tank tops saw Yang Yanni enter.

The n eagerly showered her with flattery.

Yang Yanni simply held her head high and smiled, pleased with herself. Her thods may not have been honorable, but she had achieved her goal.

"Brother Wolf, it's done," Yang Yanni said as she pushed open the door to an office. "The mont that kid heard Lin Liping had been kidnapped, he lost his cool and ca right along."

Inside the office, a middle-aged man sat with wolf-head tattoos on both shoulders. His body was a mass of lean, powerful muscle, giving him a feral look.

His nickna was Wild Wolf, and he was the third-in-command of this underworld crew.

"Ah, Yanni," Wild Wolf said, beckoning her into his arms. "As long as that kid's dical skills are as miraculous as you say, the mont he fixes my leg, I'll marry you in a grand ceremony and make you my proper wife."

"Brother Wolf, are you finally saying it? I'm so touched." Yang Yanni's eyes reddened, as if she were genuinely moved.

She had given the best years of her life to this man, ever since she was seventeen.
