Now reading: Chapter 1036: Fabled Astral Soul Realm from The Witch Hunter System, a Action novel by Pointbreak.

Originally, Hecate hoped to use the purest form of mana to reinforce the fra of her Divine Soul, thereby allowing her rigid soul constitution to withstand a higher density of soul energy.

However, everything changed upon the discovery of Astral Soul Energy.

Astral Soul Energy was simply superior to pure mana in every way in regard to soul cultivation. As such, Hecate was secretly ecstatic when pure mana was further broken down into Astral Soul Energy, the fabled source of power unique to Soul Masters.

Within her family's library, Hecate had once touched upon so subjects related to Astral Soul Energy in her search for a solution to overco the constraints of her innate soul constitution.

It was said that Astral Soul Energy originated from a mysterious dinsion called the Astral Soul Realm. This place was described as the origin of all souls across ti and space and had existed much earlier than even the Primal Chaos Era.

In the records, it also explained that the source of all souls ca from it and would return to it.

Even if chaosverses reached the end of their destruction and ended all life completely, all sources of soul would return to it to be recycled until the next chao cycle started, regardless of the state they were in.

When Hecate read about this, she thought the Astral Soul Realm was like a database. Souls were practically immortal and imperishable.

As long as it was possible to retrieve souls from the Astral Soul Realm, true death would beco a foreign concept and have no aning. After all, what was true death if revival was still possible?

If even nihility could erase souls in the complete sense, then it was no longer deletion but banishnt.

Hecate rembered when she first heard about this; she wondered if all living beings were immortals from a higher dinsion, descending into avatars to undergo life's trials without prior mories.

If that was true, then what was the aning of life? What was the purpose of living? Was life just a ga? Or was it a test?

Once the world ended, would they return to their original dinsion and recover their mories? Would they receive so sort of score at the end of it all? What if this eternal ga of life was just a brief examination for higher-dinsional beings to determine so kind of qualification?

What might seem like an eternity to them could just be an instant for higher-dinsional beings.

Although it was an interesting thought, Hecate knew there was no way of proving it.

After all, even the so-called Astral Soul Realm was only ever ntioned in records. It was a legend that was only passed around, even among Soul Masters. No one had ever truly encountered the Astral Soul Realm or been able to prove its existence.

Perhaps the Astral Soul Realm no longer existed.

Hecate sighed before pushing away her miscellaneous thoughts. She focused on producing astral soul energy to nourish her soul and change her innate soul constitution.

At the sa ti, she experinted with her power of nihility, testing the decomposition of different objects. She quickly discovered that most items from Chaos could be broken down into pure mana and Astral Soul Energy.

However, so items, especially all items from Pangea, were transford into a type of primordial energy called Grandmist Energy.

Grandmist Energy was a type of primordial energy that surged into being at the beginning of a chaosverse after the Big Bang. It was essential for forming all the celestial bodies in a chaosverse and was incredibly dense.

If a neutral star could be ground into powdered dust, it might not look much different from the grey particle-like form of Grandmist Energy. In fact, it was quite similar to Astral Soul Energy.

Of course, they still greatly differed in nature and density.

Astral Soul Energy could strengthen the soul, but Grandmist Energy would enhance the body.

However, Hecate was a denizen of Chaos who fundantally practiced soul cultivation. Grandmist Energy was not that useful to her. Absorbing it would only feel like adding weights to her Divine Soul, burdening her.

Furthermore, she did not have the luxury or resources to divide her focus for another path. Soul cultivation was her sole focus, and overcoming the constraints of her innate soul constitution was her priority.

As Hecate refined more Astral Soul Energy and nourished her Divine Soul, its rigid fra loosened yet did not weaken. Instead, it beca stronger and more elastic in nature, allowing room for expansion.

When she felt this change, Hecate felt endless joy, and her burdened heart lightened.

As long as she continued nourishing her Divine Soul with Astral Soul Energy, it was only a matter of ti before her innate soul constitution transford into sothing better.

The shackles that confined her to the peak of Rank 6 were slowly disappearing.

Perhaps once her innate soul constitution changed under the nourishnt of Astral Soul Energy, she would also awaken an ability unique to Soul Masters. That would certainly direct her life's trajectory toward an even brighter future.

After all, the Soul Master Association was a hegemonic power in Chaos with loose rules.

Many desired to join it yet did not have the qualification or opportunity. The Soul Master Association only accepted beings with the makings of a Soul Master and no other. It was an organization comprised solely of Soul Masters.

If Hecate could awaken her abilities as a Soul Master, she would definitely join it.

After all, becoming a mber of the Soul Master Association would give her a far greater status than being an ordinary mber of the Dark Fae God Clan. Her exiled family would also receive unprecedented glory from her.

Hecate used to wish she could win glory for her family, allowing it to end its exilent and return to the Dark Fae God Clan.

However, was that truly still her wish?

The Dark Fae God Clan was also a hegemonic power in Chaos. But was it really necessary for her family to cling to it when they were kicked out like trash?

With what she could achieve in the future, there was no longer a need for her family to look up to the Dark Fae God Clan! She will surpass the Dark Fae God Clan and make them pay for their past decision!
