Despite not doing anything high-profile, Vaan had been attracting attention since his arrival in Whispering Pearl City. As a pure-looking human with a unique aura, it was not surprising to arouse the interest of the rmaid race.
However, the golden-haired rmaid disciple was the first to approach Vaan, and she did not hesitate to use her naturally endowed assets to her advantage.
From this, Vaan could see that the golden-haired rmaid disciple was daring and courageous. That said, whether she was usually like this or not was another story.
The hint of nervousness and anxiety at the corners of her eyes did not escape his sweeping curiosity.
Vaan imdiately understood that her courage was just false bravado, an act forced by circumstances, and one that she seed to believe would improve with his cooperation if he accepted her so-called business opportunity.
The store behind the golden-haired rmaid was called Dreamy Pearl Venture, a giant clam that spanned ten ters in width but only four ters in height. It wasn’t fully opened, but enough for anyone to have a full view of its interior.
However, even with a full view of its interior, its spatial dinsion seed different from how the outside suggested it would be. Evidently, the interior space was significantly larger than the clamshell itself due to spatial manipulation. A barely noticeable, transparent bubble divided the interior space from the outside, making the difference subtle yet present.
The clam shop’s interior space was divided into four areas: the front goods area, the middle counter area, the side resting area, and the back workshop.
After Vaan agreed to the chat inside, the golden-haired rmaid bead a lovely smile and took him inside, toward the side resting area, where tables and chairs were provided. It seed like a standard tea table for serving guests.
However, there was no teacup or teapot on the table.
After all, they were underwater. The usual way of enjoying tea wouldn’t work in this vast realm of water.
"Would you like so tea, Young Master?" the golden-haired rmaid offered shortly after Vaan sat on the kelp-woven chair with soft, spongy coral padding.
Vaan nodded.
Shortly after, he observed the golden-haired rmaid switched on the black kettle-like object.
Although the golden-haired rmaid wanted to initiate official business talk, she noticed Vaan’s interest in the teamaker machine. As such, she quietly waited out of consideration.
Two minutes later, steam bubbles oozed from the small whistling mouthpiece.
It was a pure visual work without any accompanying tea fragrance.
The golden-haired rmaid soon picked up the teamaker machine to serve Vaan. He watched as small, pearly objects were poured into the small bowl in front of him. The small, pearly objects were crystal clear, allowing anyone to see the contents they contained: a half-filled liquid of soft green and the other half of misty air.
Up until that point, the origin of the tea still couldn’t be guessed.
After all, it had no fragrance and was yet to be tasted. Other than its color, which had hundreds of possibilities, there were no other clues.
Vaan curiously picked up a tea pearl and swallowed it.
In that instance, the tea pearl burst apart, assaulting his senses with its flavors and fragrance. The concentrated rush of flavors and fragrance was very impactful. Yet, it wasn’t overpowering.
On the contrary, it was cool and refreshing, with a hint of mint and sea brine. The flavors and fragrance washed over Vaan like a spring breeze, making him feel slightly invigorated.
"Moonkelp Infusion, a type of tea commonly found and available anywhere in the realm, but also quite beloved by all. I hope it is to your liking, Young Master," the golden-haired rmaid introduced.
Vaan smiled as a sign of silent acknowledgent before calmly asking, "What do you need from ?"
"I was hoping you could help us endorse a new product, Young Master. This is our latest invention: Chrono-Pearl." The golden-haired rmaid revealed a grape-sized, crystal bead-like pearl, which seed to contain a starry field with cosmic movents.
As Vaan inspected the Chrono-Pearl, the golden-haired rmaid continued, "Of course, as our endorser, we will pay you 10% of the profits generated by the sales of this new product. If you are unsatisfied with the terms, we can negotiate."
Although the golden-haired rmaid feared her offer wasn’t high enough, it was, in fact, very generous. After all, she was practically handing over free CP to Vaan since he didn’t contribute anything to its production. He just had to promote it and reap lifelong profits from its sales.
However, Vaan was more interested in its effects and advantages compared to similar existing products in the market.
"Our Chrono-Pearl, while it doesn’t control ti directly, can accelerate or slow down the growth of living things. It’s an essential item for cultivating magical plants that require prolonged periods to mature. However, that is just one aspect of our Chrono-Pearl. Its application is actually quite wide."
"For example, it could also speed up the recovery process or delay the progression of illnesses. For combat, it can enhance one’s speed or slow down the opponent’s movents."
"Although the effects might be negligible, the slight difference could also be the difference between life and death," the golden-haired rmaid explained.
"I see."
After listening for so ti, Vaan eventually grasped the Chrono-Pearl’s resourcefulness.
Its effects weren’t strong in a single field, but it had many applications, which could prove quite useful. Furthermore, it didn’t consu mana but mobilized the power of laws, making its energy source virtually endless.
As such, the scale of its influence could be quite vast.
If the Chrono-Pearl were tossed into the sea of a low-level life planet, its life value would increase over ti. Given enough ti, the low-level life planet could eventually beco a cultivation paradise.
By the looks of it, the Chrono-Pearl wasn’t going to be the only of its kind either. It could be mass-produced and sold to many buyers. In other words, countless low-level life planets could be cultivated at once if everyone sought such usage.
Since Vaan could see through the essence of the Chrono-Pearl’s value, he didn’t doubt others could too.
The Chrono-Pearl’s true value existed outside the Myriad Sea God Palace. Disciples born and raised within the Holy Land might not have much use for it, but those who joined from affiliate Star Kingdoms outside would see its true worth.
After all, disciples who entered from affiliated Star Kingdoms were either realm rulers or had so connections to them.
As such, they were all potential buyers of the Chrono-Pearl.
Even if the Chrono-Pearl still took millions of years to upgrade the life value of a planet to the next level, they would still be willing to buy it for their holand, especially if it was affordable.
After all, sothing like the Chrono-Pearl would be considered an extraordinary treasure in the lower-tiered Star Kingdoms.
In the eyes of these disciples from outside, it wasn’t as simple as buying a treasure but buying a future for their holand. No matter how long it took to develop, at least the potential and possibility were there.
As the saying goes, "The best ti to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second-best ti is now."
Vaan couldn’t help but sigh at the vast technological difference between the Myriad Sea God Palace and Pangea. Even he was interested in the Chrono-Pearl for the future developnt of Pangea and Gehenna.
"I have no problem endorsing this product," Vaan stated. He was happy with the Chrono-Pearl and paynt terms. But he suddenly ntioned, "However, are you sure you can represent Dreamy Pearl Venture in sealing this deal?"
"What do you an, Young Master?" the golden-haired rmaid raised her eyebrow.
"Even if I sign this contract with your store, your boss might not agree to it and break it later. If that happens, wouldn’t we have both wasted our ti and effort? After all, given my current situation, your boss might fear offending many beings by being affiliated with ," Vaan said.
The golden-haired rmaid lightly chuckled without any sign of concern before smiling confidently.
"Don’t worry about that, Young Master. I am well aware of your situation. Even Stoneclams, who are shut-ins, unmoving, and unproductive all the ti, would still be aware of your situation," the golden-haired rmaid claid with a smile.
"I am also aware of my boss’s attitude. She is not soone who would be afraid of offending others in the Myriad Sea God Palace. After all, she is also quite the bigshot in this Holy Land."
"That is why I am confident that there will be no issue with our cooperation, Young Master. In fact, others will have to think twice before offending our store," the golden-haired rmaid confidently stated.
"I see. If you are that confident, then write up the contract with the agreed terms, and I’ll happily sign it," Vaan casually said, offering a handshake. "I look forward to working with Dreamy Pearl Venture, err..."
"You can call Mirelia, Young Master," the golden-haired rmaid introduced herself as she received Vaan’s handshake.
Although everything seed to be going well, Vaan still didn’t put too much hope in their business cooperation going smoothly.
Ultimately, Mirelia was just a clerk who worked for Dreamy Pearl Venture. As long as it wasn’t the owner herself who promised him, then the chance of their cooperation falling apart was still possible.
Of course, there were also other considerations that stopped Vaan from having expectations.
That said, Vaan had also beco a little interested in the owner of the Dreamy Pearl Venture. He suspected the owner was the leader of a neutral faction, but he had no idea what her actual status was in the Holy Land.
