"How may I address you, Senior?" Vaan asked politely, not daring to act self-important in front of a bona fide True Divinity.

Since the other party gave him respect, it was natural for him to reciprocate. Such was common courtesy.

"I am known as Seander True God, but if you don’t mind, you can just call Brother Vorthain. I will also just call you Brother Vaan. No need for such formalities. What do you think?" Vorthain suggested with an easygoing smile.

In that mont, the other five True God-level Sea Gods glanced at Vorthain weirdly, wondering if he was still the sa Seander True God that they knew.

They did receive orders to be respectful, but Vorthain was just straight-up buttering up the Prospective Sage.

"If that is your wish, I will oblige, Brother Vorthain," Vaan readily agreed with a casual smile.

This ti, the other five True God-level Sea Gods glanced at Vaan weirdly. It was one thing for Vorthain to suggest and another thing for Vaan to accept.

After all, the difference between Divine and True Divinity was insurmountably huge, separating the ordinary from the extraordinary. As such, even if one were only half a step away, they would still be considered ordinary and far from heaven’s chosen.

’Little Buddy, you’re just a Prospective Sage. How thick is your skin to call a True Divinity brother?’ they silently thought, but didn’t dare to voice.

Nevertheless, Vaan pretended not to notice their thoughts and said, "I am still new here, and am not very familiar with the place. If you can escort there, that would be great, Brother Vorthain."

"Great. Let show you the way, Brother Vaan," Vorthain nodded.

Vorthain did not mind the weird gazes from his peers. In fact, such reactions from them only proved their ignorance and validated his superior wisdom.

What was the worth of seniority before the endless pursuit of the Great Way?

True Divinity was not the end of the road, not to ntion they were only at the beginning of True Divinity. To beco Heavenly Gods or even the highly venerated Empyrean Gods, effort alone would not suffice.

Besides talent and destiny, the guidance of high-level Sages would also help.

Although Vaan was just a Prospective Sage with the potential to beco a True Sage, who was to say he wouldn’t beco a Heavenly Sage in the future?

After all, he was still so young, yet showed so much potential.

If he could receive the teachings of a Heavenly Sage, his path to becoming a Heavenly God wouldn’t be as arduously difficult.

...

Core Palace region, Oceanheart Tranquility Palace

When Vorthain and the other five True God-level Sea Gods brought Vaan to Empyrean Oshenra’s palace, the latter marveled at the worldly difference.

In the Outer Palace region, pure mana was naturally rich but seamlessly blended into the environnt. However, in the Core Palace region, pure mana was not as obscured and was even easily subjected to cultivation.

As long as a person willed it, pure mana would rush toward them.

In other words, any spot in the Core Palace region could beco the perfect cultivation ground. There was no need for the aid of formations and magical devices to extract pure mana from the surrounding environnt.

Nevertheless, Vaan was stunned when his gaze landed on a pure white palace and minor buildings around it; they were all made of Celestial Jades. Such heavenly materials required the strength of countless stars to condense.

Moreover, judging by the monstrous amount of pure mana compressed within them, the Celestial Jades were likely Empyrean grade.

Such a symbol of wealth and power truly leaves people speechless.

"I can only guide you to this point, Brother Vaan. Empyrean Oshenra awaits you behind these doors," Vorthain inford, stopping in front of two majestic white doors that led to the main hall.

"Understood. Thank you for your help, brothers and sisters."

The other five True God-level Sea Gods rolled their eyes when they heard how Vaan addressed them. Vorthain may have given such permission, but they had not.

’Whatever. Better to be amicable than to create unnecessary enmity,’ they thought before responding to Vaan with smiles.

Shortly after, Vaan entered the main hall and arrived before Empyrean Oshenra, who sat within the cushion-like mbrane interior of a large open clam shell.

"I have seen the Empyrean," Vaan bowed with three fingers placed against his forehead, forming a trident, in greeting, the universally accepted gesture of respect and acknowledgnt across the myriad sea kingdoms.

"Sit," Empyrean Oshenra acknowledged.

With a casual wave of her hand, Vaan fell back into a newly constructed chair made of sea jades.

Afterward, Empyrean Oshenra quietly observed Vaan with interest, marveling at tis and baffled at other tis. Under her scrutiny, Vaan felt like he had been stripped naked with no guarded secrets.

The powerful divine consciousness of an Empyrean was no joke.

As expected of the highest heaven.

Soti later, Empyrean Oshenra furrowed her brows before speaking with a pitying gaze, "Body, energy, spirits, magic, law, and soul... A Six-Path Cultivator... Your ambition is grand to the point of being preposterous."

"How unfortunate..." Empyrean Oshenra sighed, looking at Vaan like she was looking at a crippled genius.

Vaan imdiately raised an eyebrow in alarm.

Although he was quite clear and confident in his path, it was also obvious that he wasn’t all-knowing. Given his incomplete past-life mories, he still lacked much information and knowledge.

At his current stage, it was impossible to know everything in Chaos.

On the other hand, Empyrean Oshenra was soone who had reached the peak of True Divinity and possibly lived for many chaos cycles. Even if she was nothing compared to the peak of his first life, she was definitely superior to his current life.

’Did Empyrean Oshenra discover or know sothing that I don’t?’ Vaan wondered.

Since Empyrean Oshenra brought up the topic, he should seek her advice. An Empyrean’s knowledge couldn’t be underestimated. He could gain so unique insights.

"Please enlighten , Empyrean," Vaan humbly requested, with a sincere desire to learn.
