“Stand down, Caelan!” Captain Rhys firmly ordered before sighing, “It is as Brother Vaan said; we failed to carry out our escort duties.”

Upon hearing that, Linette imdiately flashed Vaan an apologetic look for doubting him.
However, Vaan’s expression remained tranquil.
